You Made My Day As a tourist, it's hard to control the time. Often failed to get a restaurant for lunch. As most of the restaurants and cafe in Cornwall close at 3pm. It was extremely unusual for a tourist district. This restaurant opens longer than other restaurants of the district. The food was in generous size with reasonable price. The fish used a very unique batter. Very crispy. I was happy that the battered fish was skin free. Compare to the fish and chip, the steak was relatively small, which was okay if your lunch is relatively late. The food generally was in good quality. The restaurant was very big, had both pub and proper restaurant. But the environment was very clean and tidy. Sorry that it got me confused when I first arrived here. Thank you for opening for extra hours. It's really hard to get a restaurant after 3 pm.

We had our wedding reception here and stayed a few days . And it was the most amazing experience They really looked after us. Our room had been decorated beautifully. Myself and my wedding party got ready there and we then stayed a couple of nights . The food was incredible . Really tasty . The staff were all so friendly and we can't thank them enough for every detail of our day ❤️

We’ve just spent a weekend at the Rashleigh arms in Charlestown. Everything is just perfect. The room was spotless, the staff couldn’t have done anymore for us, nothing was any trouble for them. They were all so helpful and polite. The food is absolutely delicious and so well presented, everything is so fresh and well cooked. A little wait for food but my goodness so well worth waiting for as it’s always freshly cooked. We’re definitely going back.

I have dined here twice now, for Sunday lunch. The food is served to the table in a comfortable and calm environment, with proper seats and very nice ambience. The food is…..well, “proper” home cooked food, as it should be, with “proper” gravy. Perfectly cooked meat, lovely variety of vegetables and friendly, helpful staff to “top off” a very, very enjoyable experience. Thank you.

Good location, lovely garden. If you venture inside you will find a great restaurant at the back. Well laid out, good service and brilliant food. We had fish and it was one of the best fish dishes I have had. Would highly recommend it. Good service also and a nice atmosphere. All round great place.

One of the best full English breakfasts that I’ve had in ages. Excellent. Rooms are good. But the rooms could definitely do with A/C fitting.

We visited this evening with family and ordered our meals. Our starters were good, the 3 main meals we ordered were also good, however the other 2 meals from the specials board were dissapointing and very small. We did mention this to a lovely member of staff (Emily) and she went away, fed back the feedback to the kitchen, spoke to the manager who kindly altered the bill. We did initially say we would not return but we will come back another time. Thank you for taking our feedback on board, and we appreciated your kind offer.

Split between a more traditional pub/bar area and a restaurant area, the place has an amazing atmosphere, specifically on the weekends. Great place to get a pint, can get quite busy though so if you want a sit down meal best to book in advance as we found out our first times there. Service in both the bar and restaurant was great, very attentive and staff were at hand for any requests

Loved the experience in the Rashleigh Arms. Nice and cosy interior and lovely food. I had the chicken, bacon and mushroom pie. It was delicious. My child loved her pasta. Good St. Austell beer and other drinks to enjoy. Had a good time.

The Rashleigh is a beautiful venue, smart and modern inside, lovely seating area outside. Went with a group of friends (six of us all together). We all ordered our food at the till inside. My meal came out and we waited a further half an hour for the other five meals. We were advised that in between my order and those of my friends, people had ordered online. I would have preferred to have my meal delayed so the six of us could eat together and would suggest checking when you order that all food comes out to be table at the same time. Despite this the food was lovely as were the staff and I would definitely recommend eating there.

We have visited Charlestown many times but it was our first visit to The Rashleigh Arms. We have been missing out. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, it was Father's Day lunch so the restaurant was fully booked, not a problem as we sat in 1 of 2 cosy booths in the bar area, there were other tables besides of course. Between us we had a roast lamb, roast belly pork and a burger. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Very well presented and not a long wait for food considering they were busy. We would recommend a visit if you're in the area.
