We met friends here when travelling through Chard. Plenty of seating even on a busy good Friday. The staff were amazing, they coped really well with a busy day. We all had breakfasts and drinks, which were well cooked and served quickly. Refillable coffee was a nice treat. The prices were really competitive. Family friendly, disabled access, outdoor seating, public toilets and parking nearby.

Really love people. Staff had time to chat and make you feel so welcome. The food was extremely tasty and speedily delivered. Thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Today we ordered southern fried wrap with no spicy mayo and it came with mayo still. Chips and gammon were luke warm. I get the concept of cheap food but if you pay for it you kind of expect some sort of food quality. I think whoever cooked tonight should be retrained or maybe it’s time for new staff with better attitude to their job!

Surprised with Thu curry night! Had a tasty beef madras with naan and drink for under £10. Fast service. Not a traditional pub (is Wheterspoons)

The most typical of Wetherspoons. Large building, formerly a cinema I guess. Full of unfit looking people wearing sports gear. Very reasonable prices for not a bad pint. Wasn't offered a go by the alternative looking gentlemen smoking jazzy fags out the front.

Brilliant. Can't fault anything about it. Staff all clean, tidy and very polite. Good sized portions. AND they had custard ! !

My wife and I called in for lunch. This is a typical Wetherspoons pub although it's very large and it's in an old cinema / theatre. It has the typical Wetherspoons menu - good, solid British pub grub - the chairman did support Brexit, after all. There were paper menus on the table so we made our choices and I went up to the bar to order. Problem: the rainbow salad I wanted was not on the computer. After a phone call and subsequent scrutiny of the menu, it turns out I had the September menu - that is what was on our table, silly me - and today was the 4th of October. So I chose something else. All the staff were polite and friendly - just please get your menus sorted!

This place used to be a dive but this recent visit was great! Food hot and delivered with a smile. Staff came back to check. Pub was clean. Can't complain at all. If there's new management, they're doing a great job. If not, management have made some great changes.

Lovely place,,, beautiful walk around, would say if eating just stick to the sarnies, We had a roast which wasn't bad,,, but for the price was very basic, meat spuds carrots peas, for the cost you would expect cauliflower cheese, more variety etc.
