Just got back from The Green Dragon in Coombe st Nicholas where we had a lovely meal .This village pub is cosy place with quality food run by Vic & Claire who are such lovely hosts .have known Claire since she wss 17 & along with Vic they are a credit not only to their pub/restaurant but to the community that they serve .See you guys next Friday
This is a great pub....we have been here for meals on quite a few occasions and have always found the food delicious cooked to perfection and staff always been very pleasant and efficient. We never been to music nights here but by what ive heard they are great success nights .maybe try at some point .. it is very clean ...decorated nicely...and lovely cosy surroundings ...just love this place ...also has outside area and car parking .......will definatly be back again in the future ...well done to all at The Green Dragon....keep up the GOOD WORK .
Loved the new beer Redrock? Fish and chips was top notch, great batter and lovely piece of fish...

Great pub, friendly welcome, dog friendly and the best fish and chips I've ever had in a pub. The beers not bad either.

We spent New Years eve here. Delicious food great music brilliant fun. The staff are friendly and caring the atmosphere was very festive. We will be going again this year often. Thank to all for all your hard work xx

Had the most gorgeous dinner at the newly renovated Green Dragon - beautiful interior and atmosphere (the bar is stunning!), fantastic selection of drinks, and the most delicious food at excellent value! Had the amazing Dragon Burger - double Powderham Castle Estate beef patties, double bacon, double cheese, the crispiest onion rings and chips, and a salad dressing to die for! Very impressive vegetarian and vegan options as well! Absolutely worth a detour if you're in the area!

Tapas was very good, as was the Tribute.
Personally, I prefer pubs to be a little warmer ... but that's just me, as I feel the cold.
Would definitely go again.

Amazing staff a good selection of beers, even for the more discerning/annoying of the group, and we were the first patrons of the freshly opened kitchen, thanks for a lovely evening!
Lovely lunch, lovely pub, great landlords. Adam is Very friendly and knows a lot about the local area. Well worth a visit.
I'm so happy the newly refurbished Green Dragon has started serving food. I had a delicious halloumi burger there tonight and I loved the presentation (and nice crockery), even the side salad had clearly been put together with care and a very tasty dressing! Currently the menu is limited, especially for vegetarians, but the quality is good so I would certainly recommend.
Update: they have stopped doing meals now after just a few weeks which is a real shame 😕

Very accommodating. Fantastic Sunday lunch. Some of the best roast potatoes we have had in a long time. Generous vegetables and meat. Adults was 8.95. Good beer. Will definitely stop there again when travelling on the A303.
Having just moved to the area, we are relieved to find that our new local is not only an excellent place to eat, everyone there is super friendly and the atmosphere is superb. Staff are very polite and friendly and there is a good range of people too.

Lovely traditional country pub with very good food and very friendly staff. Our Sunday lunch was abundant and delicious! I am glad we found this place and will happily recommend it to family and friends.
Came to visit my family with my fiancee for my 23rd birthday. All our food was superb and staff very friendly, especially the waitress, did very well managing all the tables! (Visited friday 21st feb at around half 6 till about 8ish, 9 ish.) Fab vegan/veggie food and meat food too for my family. My brother is not eating a lot at the moment due to wanting to be slimmer and the pub didnt mind him having a bannana,although we felt awful but didnt want him to miss out being with us all together! So it was lovely he could join us and not feel judged for just having a bannana like he wanted. Thank you so much for making our evening a great one! Have been before when down my parents, and will most definitely return again and again xxxx

Rally nice village pub. Staff friendly and the food was very nice. We had a Christmas family party for 25 people which fit ok but we had to be sloot to two tables, this didn't spoilt the time we had though.
I'd recommend this to people passing by.
Great local pub friendly atmosphere. Run by Helen and Trevor. Good range of local beers and ciders, varied range if good food using local ingredients cooked , and live music alternate Fridays. Dogs are welcome in the public bar. Trevor is also a woodcarver and examples of his work greatly add to the character of the place.
Lovely renovation job and great atmosphere! Just need to get the kitchen open for food next :)
