We visited on Good Friday after a good walk around Anderby Creek. We were greeted with warm friendly smiles and lovely service. There was a wait while our order was freshly prepared, but my was it worth it! The chips were second to none, crispy with fluffy insides. The fish just melted in the mouth
Inside is basic no frills, has one loo which is good.
Food cooked fresh and came to table nice and hot. Service good, staff friendly. CASH ONLY tho. Had to get money out from cash point.
Hubby had large cod, medium chips and a hot chocolate.
I had a portion of Scampi and a Latte, really tasty foo

You can usually tell how good a place is if it has a decent queue, it shows that it's worth the wait. The sea chef is a place that serves good food all year round and if you're in Chapel Saint Leonards, give it a try, nice staff too!
Ordered Chicken and Chips. Chicken was cooked just how we like it well done .I dont like to see Chicken half cooked with blood in .Went back the next night and ordered Chicken Pie and Chips and Mushy peas Great price .More variety than the Marina

Absolutely beautiful . Cooked fresh from ordering. Mini fish chips peas. Perfect batter on fish. Not a scrappy chip on tray. Staff friendly and courteous . Highly recommend.

I live locally and buy fish and chips from here all year round. They are by far the best. Cooked to order and melt in the mouth fish with lovely crispy batter. Chips also cooked to order and quite definitely not frozen! Well done Sea Chef!

Sat outside with the dogs, the meal was ordered , delivered to the table by lovely lady. Food was freshly cooked, large portions, hot. We will definitely return when next in Chapel, and will also recommend this nice fish restaurant
