Lovely friendly atmosphere with Jayne and Mick being perfect hosts.
Highly recommend the food, especially the tapas and homemade pizza and all very reasonably priced. We hope to be back very soon.

Wow! Just home from a one night stay in our motorhome at the Jug inn. Motorhome parking for 4 motorhomes, electric hook ups too. Nice and flat right on the Riverside.
Pub, a proper old traditional pub with log fire! Very friendly and helpful staff, landlord Mick was so welcoming and couldn't do enough to ensure everyone in his pub was happy!
The girl waitress has to be mentioned, she was super efficient and a real benefit for the pub.
The food, absolutely amazing at a very reasonable price 👌
Outside space is fantastic when the weather is good!!
We will be returning many times in the future!!!
Thank you all at the Jug inn.
Loved it! Stayed in our motorhome at the back of the pub, with electric hook up! Fantastic food in the pub. Brilliant landlord and waiting staff. We will return!

Visited for Sunday lunch a few times, plus mid week for tea. Great food traditional cooking variety of meals on offer. Nice warm atmosphere friendly service, nice pint aswell,
Wow Louise's homemade pies are just delicious! So delicious I forgot to take a picture before I scoffed mine. Highly recommend the chicken, ham and leek one.
This is a true find of a local pub. Dog friendly too which is always a plus.
Unfortunately, due to no fault of the pub, there was a power outage so we didn't get the pizza we wanted (and OMG, what a pizza or is , usually!!)
Home-made, stone baked, beautiful!
But, beer was good, hosts were friendly as usual, prices as you would expect from a village pub. Loved it - will be back (again)
Called in to The Jug Inn at Chapel Haddlesey, I had not been in here for 35 years so it felt a little nostalgic for myself and my wife. It is a delightful pub with a small outside play area for kids. The new hosts Dave and Louise said they had only been in the Jug for three weeks and are new to the area. What an impression they have made, the Guinness was brill as was the wife's the Pino wine. I had the home made chicken leek and ham pie with chips and veg, the wife ordered the chicken in a basket with chips, the chicken are in a crispy coating of the jugs own recipe. Both meals were very very nice and ample portions, we will definitely be back shortly to sample more home made foods, The pub is decorated well and is well worth visiting. Well done to the new hosts and keep up the good work.
Lovely friendly welcome, tapas and pizza menu available, we'll presented, hot and fresh! Nice beer selection too.
Did not know, but do now, that there is a small motor home and camping field, with hookups, at the back of the pub by the river. Also childrens play things and beer garden.
Looked well tended and we will stay there next time we visit Yorkshire 😀
Wonderful little pub with smashing food. Look at that for a burger! Just what the doctor ordered. Tasted as great as it looked.
