This landlady and bar man really went out their way to accommodate us last night at very short notice and late- we were on our way back from Manchester Airport when Baslow became impassable- no local hotels had rooms and despite turning back and travelling 15 miles we found the Roebuck!! Our room wa

A very warm, friendly and welcoming public house, that serves a multitude of various alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Accommodating for all the family and regulars alike, it also serves, from what the menu shows, a large choice of different meals, from pub snacks to full courses, although unfort

Lovely welcoming pub. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast. Helpful friendly staff . Top rate would definitely recommend .
We stayed at the Roebuck Inn bed and breakfast. The room was really nice, with a separate bathroom (with shower) it was clean and comfy and there were little extras like an alarm clock and a hairdryer. Nice and quiet too. Good local pub, landlady very pleasant 👍
My review is purely on how they dealt with my request to cancel my booking with them. Unfortunately we never got to stay here due to last minute circumstances. Our free cancellation had ran out. I asked if it was possible to waive the fee because of the circumstances and they very kindly did so. Man
Great place, felt welcoming and was a cosy pub, friendly staff and people will definitely go again.
This b&b is situated in a silent nice little town. My room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the staff polite and friendly. Top!!!
We stayed for bed and breakfast. Karen was a great host, breakfast was full english, freshly cooked good quality food. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pub area was lovely and warm to relax.
Lovely rooms behind the pub. Separate access than the Roebuck itself. Clean and comfortable. Quiet and it was a Saturday night stay. Didn't eat in the Roebuck as was staying over for a party elsewhere. Looked like a nice pub from what I saw.
Lovely pub, great room, good breakfast and really friendly staff, definitely will stay there again
Excellent pub. Karen, Ian and all the staff are very welcoming. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Go most week for a good drink and banter. They also serve a good breakfast.
Excellent quality 👌 lovely quality food and room very welcoming clean and fresh plenty of tea coffee and milk provided and more if requested, nice onsuite shower check in great and lovely breakfasts. Karen and Ian very friendly and welcoming to the roebuck.
This is my 'local' and has been for many years. My wife and I like to visit other pubs both near and far but we always make The Roebuck our last call. Wonderful landlady and friendly staff always make everyone welcome..... and the traditional hand-pulled beers are second to none. 10/10. :-)
