Lovely pub with friendly staff and locals. Food is always good with better sized portions and price, compared to most other Green King restaurants. Only let down is the price and upkeep of the pool table but all else makes up for this slight negative
We had a very enjoyable lunchtime. Unfortunately I did not photograph most of our meals. Well presented and very good value for money. Chocolate fudge cake was really superb, really worth showing a photograph of it. Nice clean pub. Excellent staff and very good service.
Sunny lunchtime visit, decent veggie burger, many options. Had the Grand Prix on the screens but sound down, so you could watch if you wanted but wasn't intrusive. Patio garden with tables and good large umbrellas, roadside rather than green grass but pleasant enough. Service was great, friendly hel
A lovely lady called Hannah servered us, and was friendly and helpful when I had some questions about the menu. It was a quiet time of the day, but I noticed how clean and tidy the bar was, even the pool table looked tidy, great experience and look forward to visiting this pub again.
Our Scooter Group ( South Hants Harriers Scooter Group) Did a ride out here (17th oct) brilliant food quality. Nice staff. Good prices. Seemed like a brilliant pub and with decent staff and value for money. And went here to see the live singer on friday 20th october. Who was brilliant and should be
Just moved to the area and visited this pub with my wife and dog for an early dinner and a couple of pints on our first night. Pleasantly surprised how welcoming the staff were. Great selection of food which arrived promptly and tasted lovely. I think I've found my new local!!!
I like this place, honest pricing & busy. Says alot when you walk in. £2.49 for a pint of IPA. Wished I could stay all weekend!
Good value for money food selection, quick service and overall quiet pub. Well lit and TV screens dotted about to watch sport.
Great service Food was quick and tasted good. Good Pub grub, no complaints!
Nice little pub in the middle of Fryern shops. Small free car park with plenty of outdoor seating. Very friendly staff. All COVID restrictions removed, but tables still cleaned after each use. Small seating area outside is proving very popular.
First time there for Christmas Dinner. Not disappointed. My steak was yummy. My wife loved her turkey and our friend Stuart said the sprouts and brocoli were hard and under cooked. Drinks were reasonable priced. Overall a good experience. Well done the chef and staff for making our Xmas dinner yumm
Had 3 course Christmas dinner. Food plentiful, delicious and well presented. Atmosphere was great. Staff friendly yet professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone even if just popping in for a drink.
Great staff, very welcoming atmosphere. Staff is always in a good mood and even if you are not a regular or a local they will treat you as if they known you for a long time.
Always a pleasure, great people, great atmosphere, lovely food! Just a great all round boozer...and it's got a pool 🎱 table 👍
