Lovely vintage pub, quirky interior with lot of character and history
A wonderful little pub which has a lovely playground for children! Service staff have been very friendly everytime we have been and the food has been delicious too. Must visit if you are a large group that includes kids.
Lovely 'local' with a huge garden full of tables, perfect for warm summer evenings. Also good space inside with friendly service and nice food.
Lovely pint of Guinness. The food was excellent too. Lovely beer garden. Child and dog friendly.
It was my first time visiting. I had a carvery which was fresh and delicious. We sat in the garden which was huge and lovely. I hope to visit again!
Best roast Iโd had for a long time. Very welcoming and good service. ๐
We met a friend from the US and the 3 of us went to The Dumb Bell this lunchtime. My comment was, " next to excellent"! The greeting was great, the food was magnificent: all home cooked; the beer was top class All in all, a wonderful lunchtime and great value for money. What a great pub. Go there. Y
The Sunday Roast menu until the end of the pandemic will be served at your table. Nevertheless, the quality of the food still the same ๐๐ผ
Great atmosphere, great service, great pub food, plus a great playground area for the kids.
A regular favourite for me and my children. They love the play area and toys, and thereโs a small contained area for toddlers to play in. The garden is big with plenty of seating. And interesting tree decor
Great for kids. All the various crisps we had were out of date, but as long as you are not funny about that, all very good!
Really nice country pub, good Guinness and steak was lovely... thanks ill be back
Lovely old pub with plenty of character. Large garden, with kids facilities. Large car park too. The food was lovely, hot and good sized portions. Service was good and staff very friendly.
Will visit it again when in the area. The only negative I found was the Men's toilets had no soap or hand towel
Good time with grandchildren, eating in the large garden with lots for the kids to do. Varied menu and the food was very enjoyable, well presented and tasty. Some excellent fish dishes on the menu as well as more standard pub food. Veggie options and kids menu. Recommended.
Great little country pub,but like so many out of the way places the locals are wary of stranger's which makes one feel uncomfortable, probably Will get better once the good weather arrives, large garden with seating and table's, dog friendly.
