We had a lovely family lunch, good service. We highly recommend the Kids Sunday Lunch (note the generous portion) and the Cheese and Onion pie .
Went here with my wife for our anniversary. Beautiful pub in a lovely setting. Fantastic, friendly service. The food was lovely and even though it was fairly busy was on the table within 20 minutes. The food is reasonably priced and they do a meal deal with a free drink on a Monday and Tuesday.

even though it’s just a pub the food is still great, the atmosphere is lovely and the waiters are so nice and accommodating. we hadn’t booked but they squeezed in a table of 5 anyway, and we had a great time
Absolute gem of a place. So welcoming, family friendly and such a great atmosphere. We had 2 courses the Sunday Roast and Sticky toffee pudding, both delicious. Highly recommend
Good food and drinks menu with a large outside seating area with plenty of parking. Lots to choose from on the menu and it is reasonably priced. Been several times now and we have always had a good experience. The decoration is a little tired but it doesn't detract much from the overall experience.
Went today all staff and food was excellent. My girl has disabled issues but felt very comfortable see you again. Ate too much lol
Katie who attended our table of 17 was very efficient and we received very good service throughout the meal.☺️
Food was very good, just needed to return one steak to be cooked a little bit more. Otherwise no complaints at all.
Also a bonus that Blue Light card is accepted - 10% discount.
Visited as we were staying on the adjacent canal. Food was excellent. Beer was good. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very accommodating of our need to leave a car in the carpark for a day longer when the canal boat broke down and we couldn't get back as planned.
Over the moon with the food, everything was top notch, I can't remember what it was called, but I got the double burger with brisket, and it was amazing. I also got some halloumi fries, which were good too!

The food was very good with plenty of choice. The staff were pleasant and attentive, and we were able to talk without having to compete with piped music. An enjoyable experience.
Been a few times recently and each time lovely fresh food and excellent service. Staff attentive and eager to give service with a smile. Great value too.

JW Lees. Young staff, very polite and amicable. Food came in good time and nicely presented. We had the Sizzler meals and they caused quite a stir when they arrived! It was quiet when we were in, and very pleasant.
Not had any food, but been in a few times for a drink. Nice little place, quick and polite service, and a solid range of drinks available.
