Without doubt THE BEST scones in the land. I must always order the Giant cream tea because one scone just isn't enough, they are so good. Nicola & the team work really hard, they are friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or cream tea - it's all fresh & very tasty.

We went for the Mothering Sunday High Tea. It was absolutely superb. Lots of delicious flavoured finger sandwiches, wonderful light fluffy scones with proper jam and cream and absolutely delicious cake. All this plus unlimited tea was just £10 per head. I am very critical of cake and can honesty say that the coffee cake was heaven on a plate and the Victoria sponge was one of the best I've ever had. Nicola arranged for my pescatarian daughter to have her own set of suitable sandwiches which was taking the service to another level. Inside the tea rooms are light and airy and you can watch the world go by in Cerne Abbas. Nicola and her staff are so friendly and you feel very welcome. Next time we are going to try the magnificent looking Sunday lunch!

Nice little tea room with a pretty garden at the rear. Victoria Sponge was way too sweet. My Dorset apple cake was heated and came with custard. Nice coffee.

Tea room in the tourist hot-spot of Cerne Abbas. Park on the street nearby, if you can. The garden is not wheelchair accessible with many steps, even using the back gate onto the lane. Small room indoors, dogs not allowed. Gardens are pleasant and there is good shelter at two double table spaces under a perspex roof. Dogs are allowed in the garden. The garden is very peaceful (it was empty when we visited, I expect it's noisy on a warm and sunny weekend). We had sandwiches which come with crisps and a side salad. Not overly huge but very generously filled. Very tasty and the tea and coffee were good too. The prices are as you'd expect in a popular place, in these times of rising prices everywhere, £7.50-£9 for a sandwich so with a cup of tea that's more than a tenner each. You can have a baked potato at the same cost, with similar fillings. We came here many years ago and it feels largely unchanged, the staff are friendly and service was prompt.

Dropped in here after visiting the Cerne Man and Cerne Abbey. Beautiful Village with wonderful architecture. The tea was lovely and strong, plenty in the pot for 2. I had poached eggs on brown toast. Delicious runny eggs. The hubs had a full English which he said was scrummy. The cake looked homemade, so we took a couple of slices to have later. Pleasant staff and a lovely little independent tearoom x

I pre-booked tables for lunch for a party of approximately 12 via FB DM and Nicola was really helpful and accommodating. On the day there were 18 of us that swooped into the tiny village of Cerne Abbas and this lovely little tea room - the staff we're absolutely brilliant, friendly and welcoming to our large group of bikers and provided 5⭐ service for our varied orders. All the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Really good coffee and another 5⭐ for the selection of delicious cakes. Thank you Abbot's Tearooms for making our Sunday Rideout a great day! 🍰🏍️♥️

We were really lucky with the weather given the deluge the evening before and Abbots Tearoom was the perfect place for a spot of lunch. There was some space in the lovely garden to the rear and it was an absolute joy to relax in the peace and comfort of a village treasure of Cerne Abbas. We all enjoyed our lunch and there is always something delightful for everyone. A little gem in Dorset and well worth a visit. Thank you!

I stopped by on a lovely sunny September afternoon and had a cream tea in the garden. This is a great spot, I received a warm welcome and the cream tea was everything it should be. I would certainly recommend a visit.

Such a quaint little tea room in a lovely village. We visit every time we go to Cerne Abbas, approximately twice a year. The Dorset Apple Cake and clotted cream is an absolute must have. Forget the calories for one day.
