We have been here for the last two nights. Just rocked up (three of us and a dog) and they have been great. Really friendly and welcoming. Food top notch. Would HIGHLY recommend.
We booked last minute so no tables available so ate outside, but still nice as the sun was out. Food was great, good-sized portions and definately value for money. Service was spot on and staff were friendly. Lovely choice of ales, beers and gins. Highly recommend.
Great meals and drinks, friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful location. They were happy for me to leave my car there for an hour or so afterward while we walked to the falls and up the river.
Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Good food. Reasonably priced. Just a good old fashioned pub.
We stopped for Sunday lunch and it was definitely worth every penny. Full plates and great value for money and lovely landlady and staff and best of all dog friendly. We will be back.
Had a fantastic meal here, 16oz steak. Perfectly cooked medium rare. I can't recommend highly enough. Also great walks right outside
Lovely pub food and friendly welcoming staff. Prices are as expected for a pub, but food is well above what you’d expect! Would happily come again!
Great food, and service with a smile from the serving staff! All in all a wonderful experience. We will be back 😊
Lovely home cooked food Great service made us feel very welcome Would definitely visit again
We had a lovely meal here, the staff were friendly and attentive and dog friendly. I enjoyed their fillet steak, which was cooked perfectly (rare), and my other half had a cheeseburger. Very cosy pub and good selection of drinks.
Nice outdoor area to sit in the sun and enjoy a very well kept pint of local ale. The food looked fantastic,
We had a wonderful meal this evening, fantastic steak, great service and extremely welcoming, look forward to returning tomorrow evening 😀
Loved the ambience. Generous portion of hearty fare. Polite, friendly, efficient service. Parking on site. Disabled entrance at rear.
Great service, steak I've ever had, dog friendly too 👌
Great place for steak. Excellent ales. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back
Called here for food and drink mid April. Food a little expensive, especially when serving frozen chips... Mashed potato was puréd rather than mashed giving it a cheap "Smash" texture and taste. Garlic mushrooms curiously sweet. New potatoes, seabass, steaks and beer all good.
Just an afternoon ale or 2... Then for a stroll around the village, a quick siesta then back for dinner Cheese starter lovely, T-bone 20oz for me and Fillet for her indoors both perfect and a slice of Biscoff Cheese Cake "didn't share" beers and whisky ended a perfect day, 2nd visit 30/aug/2023 As
Had a fantastic meal here tonight. Garlic mushrooms prawn cocktail followed by a pulled pork burger with all the trimmings and an amazingly tasty flat iron steak. Didn't have to go far for this culinary delight as we have not long moved in across the road. Look forward to summer eves. Lynda and chri
