I only had fish and chips and a glass of wine, but the food was great - real fresh fish - and very reasonably priced. Very friendly and efficient service. Will definitely call here again!

The Cross Keys is a much loved venue in the Cawsand/Kingsand villages. The menu in the restaurant is excellent; suitable for all tastes and regularly updated, depending on available sea food and local produce. Children are welcome in the restaurant and dogs in the bar. This is a popular place for sports lovers as it has large and projected screens for international games. Music lovers enjoy the live bands which play most Sunday afternoons and often spill out into the square.

Incredibly friendly young staff. A table for one was found despite not having a reservation, and the sunday roast that followed was the best I can remember. It is a lovely light room and I can't wait to come here again.

Really delicious lunch today! I had fish and chips and my husband had the burger! Both really good, tasted wonderful and was presented beautifully! The fish was excellent and batter light and crispy! The sides of mushy peas, curry sauce and tartare sauce were all very good too! The pub had recently been refurbished and it looks absolutely great! Lovely decor and colour scheme, comfortable seating and spotlessly clean! My only tiny disappointment was the coffee! Made in machine but only half a cup full with no frothy milk! I suggest smaller cups or a separate milk frother! The staff were friendly and professional! Can highly recommend!

Excellent food. The seafood pie was great. The next evening, a completely different food style, I tried the pork belly ramen and this was also really good. Generally, I find food in pubs in UK (I'm from Australia) pretty ordinary at best, but this was a cut above. Friendly service too

Went in Saturday evening for the first time ever , not realising it had just reopened after a refit with new owners . Good menu choice and we both had a rib-eye steak . Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection and we were too full for dessert . Fortunately we weren’t too full to stay til closing time drinking cider and wine . Will definitely return to try something else

Very good food at the recently refurbished Cross Keys. We had the Sea Bass and Fish & Chips, both excellent. We came early evening and it was busy in the bar and dining room.

Recently reopened. Friendly staff. We only stayed for a drink, but a nice atmosphere to the place and the food options looked decent.

Looks like the kind of pub I would have enjoyed spending an evening in, but the atmosphere was a little muted by social distancing. Still, the barman/waiter was cheerful and welcoming and doing well under the circumstances, so five stars for effort 👍
