We enjoyed a perfect couple of nights stay here over the bank holiday weekend. Staff are friendly and welcoming, food is delicious and we were looked after very well by the chef on both mornings with a delicious cooked breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. Highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay away from everyday routine.
Stayed here for 7 weeks great place nice rooms all staff give a warm and friendly welcome from day one and the food is fantastic Will stay there again
We couldn’t have had a friendlier warmer welcome today when 4 of us appeared in muddy boots, hungry from a walk. Staff bent over backwards to get lunch for us and served the most delicious steak baguettes which we ate by the fire. Thanks for excellent service would recommend to everyone
Great new menu; a step above normal pub fare but not 'gastropub' level. New management is doing great.

The Bull (along with our rather lovely house) was a principle reason for us settling in. Cavendish over 20 years ago. I'm very pleased to say that, after a difficult few years, it's not only back to its best but better: a wonderful selection of well chosen, well kept beer; tremendous cooking and service; and a fab atmosphere created by locals, visitors and friendly staff. More than worth a trip to our lovely part of the country to check out

A lovely country pub in Cavendish that is a definite must visit if you are in the area.
The portion sizes are very generous and will leave you with a full stomach.
Service was fantastic and the servers were always happy to help at a moment's notice.

Great Sunday roast, beef was amazing, loads of vegetable selection & extra gravy in a separate pot...... you won't find a better roasty!! Staff really friendly & location in Cavendish is really quaint. CAN'T WAIT TILL SUNDAY CONES ROUND AGAIN!!!!
Visited for the first time today and would definitely go back again. Lovely cosy traditional pub. All staff very welcoming and friendly, and the roast dinner was AMAZING, great portion size.
My wife and I stopped here for a light lunch today it was excellent, a ploughmans and scampi, salad and came with herb new potatoes. Host where very pleasant and welcoming ,and Sam behind bar! definitely will visit again

This is a nice quaint pub.
We had a lovely meal here on a friday evening ,the starters were nice and the mains were perfect which big portions.
Even a live singer turned up with a guitar which was a nice surprise and that make our evening even more better.
Staff were polite and served in a good manner.
I would definitely recommend this pub.
Excellent place to go, be it for tea coffee or a good meal with fine beers.
Lovely, cosy pub, landlord Tony very friendly, good range of drinks, haven't tried the food yet, but have heard it's very good, so we will be shortly, also dog friendly, give it a try, you won't regret it
I called to make a last minute booking for Sunday lunch yesterday and our request for a table for three were very kindly accommodated. Having never visited before we wasn’t sure what to expect.. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the service was fantastic and the food amazing. Highly recommend Thank you. John and Nicki (we will be back with family and friends) 🤗
Visited the Bull Inn for lunch on a walk from Clare. Wonderful food at a very good price. This pub has a lovely traditional, village pub feel — which includes the size of the servings. Recommended!

Passing through Cavendish today, we come across the Bull Inn!! We walked in and were instantly welcomed by Victoria, she offered us a table within 40 mins and we had a drink whilst we were waiting! We went and looked at the table but as there was a party of 12 in the same room we asked Victoria if she had another table as we didnt feel comfortable and she said she would see what she could do, within minutes she come back to us and told us she could fit us in near the bar!!! We was drinking at the bar when another lady come and asked us if we were ready to eat now or did we want to wait the 40 mins and we said we would eat now, Victoria came and told us the table was ready, we went and sat down and our food was brought over, plus an extra jug of gravy!!!! The food was exceptional, lovely selection of veg, loads of meat, potatoes and a huge yorkshire pudding!!! We were so impressed with how well we were treated, we were made so welcome and the food was delicious!! Thank you to you all especially Victoria, we look forward to coming back!!!
Had a fantastic breakfast here on Saturday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Would definitely recommend.
