Lovely atmosphere and amazing food topped with many-many little extras which makes this pub unique and clearly shows the owners love and passion for their business.

Always love the service and atmosphere in here. Not a chain. Well chosen beers pumped from a proper beer cellar and an excellent menu of food that's cooked to order and there's something good for everyone whether you like meat, fully vegan or something in between.

Great village pub! We did like the outside view, spotless clean pub!!! Very welcoming staff and the food was very tasty and different from any average pub. Highly recommend!

A fabulous, friendly, atmospheric small pub. Well-kept local ales on tap... Treats from local Baked Brownies and an unpretentious menu on offer. Staff are warm and good-humoured and, when it's grim outside, the real fire offers good cheer. One of my new favourite places.

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Good cask ales (Purity’s Ubu and Dow Bridge Acris) and a range of wines - for white wines, they have a SA Chenin Blanc, and Italian Pinot Grigio by the glass. We just came for drinks but they menu offers various sharing boards which sound very good (their food menus are on their website). They also sell delicious locally-made baked goods, such as chunky brownie slices with Mars bar pieces or Aero chunks, Blondies studded with white chocolate chips and oreos, and carrot cake slices etc. There is a nice terrace area, partly shaded for outdoor seating. The pub is also dog friendly. There is no private parking but we were able to easily find parking on the street side outside.

Visited the Cherrytree Saturday 17th September . What a wonderful pub this is also being a freehouse made it even better. Nice local brewed beer and for Gin lovers local distilled Gin also a full range of drinks Never knew bout this pub only finding out when our friends in America sent us a gift card for this establishment We travelled 33 miles from our home how our friends found this I have no idea but so glad they did. Wonderful food and not your typical pub food . All food sourced from local suppliers including meat . Menu as I know gets changed often all food on the menu is made in small batches so once it's gone it's gone and its all home cooked . Food was wonderful . Sorry I never got to ask the name of the proprietor but had a good conversation about the pub history . Such a friendly and hospitable place . Its a bit of a journey from our home but will return next time on our Harley

Discovered this pub under new owners a few months ago and absolutely love it. Super dog friendly (complete with a doggie menu), amazingly tasty food and great atmosphere. Definitely worth the trip for two and four legged individuals!

Found this place via a friend liking on Facebook so decided to give it a try. I am really glad I did as the hospitality and food are fabulous. All freshly prepared and delicious 😋. I had the “Best of British” aka a Ploughmans and as I can’t eat cheese they kindly offered me a choice of other things and I settled for olives. The car park looks a little tight but don’t be deceived as the lady inside said it can accommodate a Transit Van, I’ll know next time 😊. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed 👍

Fantastic! Although I live in Rugby, this was the first time that I have visited the pub. Everyone was so brilliant from phoning to make a booking, to just having a general chat. They welcome all; the visitor from the local campsite to the local cycling club.Brilliant, friendly, food delicious and cold beer. A British summer classic!

An utterly charming country pub. With good beers and excellent food. You can be sure of a warm welcome. There is even food for your dog on the menu.
