Really good quality fish, proper Cod perfectly fried. Lovely chips and scraps. Will definitely come back - the senior special very good value

Not sure why it isn't in the top 3 best fish n chips. The right crisp for both fish and chips. Recipe aside, the quality of fish used was good too. Amazing staff and service. Clean in every corner.

First visit having driven past often. Did not disappoint, in fact exceeded expectations. We ate in, sat in the front restaurant by a window. Service was at our table and very quick. Food and drinks arrived swiftly. The haddock and chips was delicious. Very light but crisp batter which melted in the

The food is amazing, the fish and chips are crispy and very delicious. Also there is a range of different items on the menu if you cannot make up your mind.
I definitely recommend visiting this place and you will keep on going again.
First time here. Nice clean place we only had take away. I had haddock chips and curry very nice wife had battered sausage chips and mushy peas again nice. However chips must have had a couple of different types of potatoes or different cooked batches. We had a variety of taste texture and hardness.
Brought mother in law for birthday treat, she said it was the best fish and chips she had had in ages! Really enjoyed ours, not fatty at all, crispy batter, proper mushy peas! Our 3 children all enjoyed their meals too! Thank you.

My wife and I use 149 regularly when in Catterick Garrison. Service is quick and efficient, the restaurant is lovely and clean. Food delicious. Staff are happy and polite.

Fantastic fish and chips cooked in good healthy dripping. Its getting hard to find food that isn't packed with toxic seed oils this is probably the healthiest takeaway in the area.

On this occasion, I felt the staff were a little too eager to clear table, I had literally just put my knife and fork down, to have a drink of tea, and the waitress ( who was very pleasant) cleared the table
