The owners are lovely as are the rest of the staff. Very friendly always have a chat when I go in. The food is delicious, great portion sizes and the irish curry sauce is lush. Well worth a visit �

Every time I have been in, I have had great service and wonderful food. A large cod and chips is what I have, and I cannot fault it. Beautifully cooks fish and lovely chip. 10/10. Excellent eatery.
Wow good portions had 1 kids cod bites , one small fish and chips and one sausage and chips , excellent food there was so many chips we had to take some to our neighbours
First time at Frydayz Fish Bar , very friendly service, ordered large fish ,well worth the money, batter crisp, the fish was cooked perfectly, not over cooked like a lot of fish shops. The mushy peas were home made ( not bright green from a can ) and were just how they should be,will go again.
Always friendly service. Gorgeous fish and chips every time. We have even been converted to Irish curry sauce instead of mushy peas!

I love this place fab owners that always put a smile on my face offer us tea and coffee always sit in with my little boy and people always fuss him and come over to say hello the food is lovely would never go anywhere!
These people go above and beyond to make sure there customers are happy and even made some good friends along the way that they also help out side of work and make sure there ok brilliant place! X

I popped in here one evening last week, whilst on a course at Catterick Garrison. I was really pleased that I did! I was treated to excellent and very friendly service, cooked to order haddock with tasty chips, lemon slices, mushy peas, and a free pot of tea! It's not often that I'd take the time to write a review for a high street fish and chips shop, but this one is a bit special! If I'm ever passing again, I'll be sure to revisit!

Frydayz is 1 of the only chippies I can count on being spot on each time I visit. Always a warm welcome to boot. Well done to the owners that always do that little extra that others don't.
My son and I don't have fish and chips often. This is the only fish and chip shop I am prepared to travel to in order to have dinner. Amazing portions and value. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They always remember us and ask how we are! If I could give more stars I would, there is a reason they show their awards with pride.
I would suggest for two adults: one large or medium chip and two medium fish is a perfect portion.
Please keep up the great effort and quality.

Working in area visiting from York. Amazing Fish and Chips, had large Cod n chips and curry sauce. It was very fresh and tasty best in long while, great portion size too. Not surprised they have won National award. Very friendly couple that run it highly recommended.

Amazing service from the friendliest of staff! Ate in instead of taking away, had a lovely conversation with the owner and his wife, with a complimentary cup of tea to wash down my cod and chips. The cod was beautifully flaky and the batter was crisp with no soggyness, and the chips were perfect!

He haggis is delicious. The kids fish and chips is a great portion size. The pies are very good too.
This little guy, after demolishing is fish stole his father's haggis and brother's steak from his pie.

Fantastic fish and chips and lovely people serving willing to go extra mile for customers. Visit here every 2 weeks now and we have to travel 35 mins to get here. Well worth the drive. Fish and chips at their finest
