Jenny and I had a lovely, home-cooked birthday lunch at The Harrow yesterday in their pretty, sunny garden. My vegetarian quiche was delicious, with sweet potato fries and Jenny's 'big' burger with chunky chips was enormous and defeated her, despite her best efforts. Very impressed!

Thank you so much to the landlady Rachel manager Zoe and the excellent staff who looked after us so well for my husband's surprise party today. From booking to the event we received first class customer service. Lots of attention to detail and thoughtful personal service. The room was decorated beautifully and the food was excellent. A really lovely personal and caring experience. Thank you so much.

What a jem, just got back from a meal at the Harrow, and had to leave a review. The meal was fantastic. The special, a pheasant pie was amazing. Was informed it would be a slight wait as cooked to order but happy to sit and enjoy the drinks (nice bottle of red and the ale was spot on) Dog friendly, always a plus for us, but felt really bad at the end of the meal. There was no option to leave a tip on the card machine, and we only had minimal cash. Our server, a young chap, had been spot on and deserved more than we left. Will be back again for sure.

Only outside dining was open when we went due to Covid. Nice place to sit with friends and enjoy ur food. Some seats are directly under sun, other places are still good to sit (we didnt sit under the sun directly and still felt good). Food is very good. Nice vegetarian options. You have good amount of parking space too.

I have been to this pub many many times. They have good menu, very friendly staff (I recognise some of them by face now, they are super interested in giving you a good service) . Nice drinks, cosy ambiance and tasty food.

Went for Sunday lunch. Had "The Harrow Darkness" (vegetarian) with a side order of rice and the vegetarian roast. Both good.

We visited just for drinks on a Wednesday evening, the place is welcoming and friendly, there is a large outdoor seating area so good for kids and dogs. I would visit again in the future for a meal.

Lovely pub, stopped in our dog walks. The dogs were made very welcome and were given a drink of water immediately. We had a couple of pints and they were perfect. A nice atmosphere and the food smelt good although we didn't eat.

Quite simply, the best pub in the local area. We have spent 'many' an enjoyable afternoon / evening in The Harrow. The atmosphere is superb and the staff are great. Dave and Becky (Landlord & Landlady) have always done a cracking job at running this pub and it shows. Lovely food, great ales (look out for the beer festival), nice open fire. Great quiz nights too (especially the Christmas one), dog and child friendly. Well worth a visit.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We recently had to organise a Celebration of life for a close friend. At the time we spoke to several event space holders in the area. The Harrow were the ONLY ones who showed true empathy and care, whilst being exceptionally professional. On the day nothing was too much trouble from downloading our own Spotify playlists to arranging the pub how we liked it and throughout, every team member especially Zoe the manager and Zoe the team member showed genuine care. Rachel the owner was so invested in ensuring it went well that she left nothing to chance and was on hand all day to assist where needed. Her care and dedication shone through. The food was superb and everything went really well. Even now when I pop in for a drink, they remember me and also ask how we and our friends family are. I know this review sounds sycophantic but honestly they deserve it. We have also eaten and drunk here several times it was really well prepared and tasty. It is so nice to find a “local” with good people, great food and the best pint of Pride in the area.

Nice pub with reasonably priced food and good service. Reasonable selection of beers and ciders. There is also a good sized car park for easy parking.

Excellent Sunday roast. Pork loin and crackling for me and roast beef for my partner. Massive Yorkshire puddings!. Shouldn't have had the side order of cauliflower cheese as well, as the portions are huge !. Good service. Highly recommended.

Really great mid-market pub. Staff great, atmosphere and location - what you want from a “rural” local pub. Beer garden (some covered) ideal with woodland setting.
