An absolutely fantastic place. The food was out of this world. Very friendly and all of the staff were extremely helpful. Would completely recommend. Would give a 6 stars if we could.

We’ve become regulars at the King Bill. Friendly place with really great food, I aim for the specials which always are really special. Separate veggie menu, fantastic fish stew (wish it was on the normal menu!) and cracking lamb shank. Sunday lunches are great too, appreciated by our friends and family when we’ve taken them. Highly recommended.

A really great lunch experience...some lush "daily specials"...and cooked on the premises (not heated chilled packs!!) Friendly and informative staff. Good beer too...i will be going back when the "game" is added to the specials. Thanks to the staff for a great lunch

Now listen, folks, we have some news, We've done a local food review, We recently wanted Sunday lunch, And we've been to all the local bunch, So if you want to know the winner, There's only one place for Sunday dinner. Meet Robyn, Nicky, and don't forget Mark, They truly leave the rest in the dark, The king William at Catcott is by far the best And you can honestly keep the rest. Forget the Carvery and Gastropub, This is proper home cooked grub. Now the tearooms finally here, It's not just a place to have a beer, So "here's to the King William" is the toast, The place to go for your Sunday roast.

Called in for the 1s t time. As we always pass the King William Inn when it's closed. But wow yesterday we court it open only 10 minutes before closing. The Land Lady was lovely , and the young lady. They were lovely gave us some information. Inside the pub was amazing. 2 lovely fireplaces. It was very spacious inside. We have been passing this pub for over 25 years. But we will next time we will definitely ring and book a table. I highly recommend anyone to try The King William Inn. Look forward to going In November. Thank you Land Lady and young lady. WE WILL BE BACK..

Stopped here for a bite to eat and some drinks after a long walk through the countryside. The welcome we received was very friendly. We are on holiday in Somerset and the staff here were very helpful with places to get cider and other areas to visit. The cider on tap of Dorset Orchards Gold was delicious. The food we had was so good that we booked for Sunday lunch the next day. When they heard how much of a walk we had and having to walk along a busy road with children they even offered to give us a lift back to our lodge. I would definitely recommend this lovely village pub! Edit. Just got back from a lovely Sunday lunch. The roast pork was delicious. The red cabbage tasted like it had cinnamon in it which was a lovely touch. Very tasty indeed. And all the staff were very friendly again.

A great place for our first family meal out in a long time. Kind-hearted and polite staff with a great sense of humour, a rustic setting plus amazing food: My vegan burger was just like the real thing. Looking forward to returning when it's fully reopened.

Absolutely fabulous takeaway vegan roast, tasty, and very reasonably priced. Served with a smile, and included mustard and cranberry sauce, at my request. Will definitely be enjoying again soon, the perfect way to finish a long dog walk. Thank you for making my Sunday!

we came for a wedding and I was very very impressed with the carvery. Wee are looking to come back with friends from Weston. The cheesecake was so light it was delicious. I had the beef carvery and all the veg and trimmings were fantastic. I am getting hungry just thinking about it ;)

Sunday Carvery Lunch was simply Wonderful. Great choice of meats and Veg. Massive Yorkshire puds! Brilliant choice for Vegetarians as well. (Special Veggie Gravy) Super Friendly welcome and atmosphere. Probably the "Best Sunday Lunch" in Somerset in my opinion. Dog Friendly as well, treats and water supplied. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We will be back :)

Can't recommend this great pub enough. We stopped for a light bite lunch today and had a delicious ham egg and chips with rral hand cut chipsl! Nothing was too much trouble, we had a friendly greeting, our dog was welcomed and not just tolerated as we have found with some pubs. A real gem and we will be back for sure.

Brilliant lunchtime meals from the King William today who kindly offered to host 29 of us during our orienteering walk on a Sunday! No one left hungry! The ploughmans were just amazing, great baguettes and home cooked chips. They couldn't have been more helpful (especially as the orders kept coming and changing right up to the day before we turned up!). Lovely friendly staff and great drinks selection too! Thankyou for having us!

10/10 for food, value, friendliness and cleanliness. Absolutely fantastic. Flexible menu for the kids. Staff friendly especially when the kids wanted to look down the indoor well 🙂. Food was off scale with flavours and portions. Proof in good old home cooking. And the choc brownie was the best ever. Can’t wait to try Sunday roast. A big thank you 😊
