We had the pleasure of dining in Nana's Kitchen. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was delicious. But what truly stood out was the service. We had 2 babies in tow and were crying the whole place out but the staff were understanding and genuine. They even offered to keep the food warm for us when we were trying to soothe the babies to sleep. This restaurant is a gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Exceptional experience. 🤍

Came here today for a bite to eat, had myself the Ulster Fry. Food was amazing and Leeanne and staff were so friendly as well. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!! Thanks everyone at Nanas!

Delightful small restaurant situated on the lower end of Castlewellan Main Street. Family friendly and offering a range of tasty healthy meals and follow up desserts. Friendly chatty staff and free street parking right in front of the premises, although spaces may be scarce at times. Prices keenly competitive!

Every year when we go to the Soma Festival in Castlewellan we make a point of eating at Nana’s Kitchen. Beautiful cafe with absolutely gorgeous food and the most lovely staff. We always have a seat by the window to watch the town go by. This year I had an amazing chicken dish with rice and when I asked for my sauce on the side it wasn’t a problem at all. Definitely recommend this place, it’s been one of my favourites.

Great place to get some excellent food at very reasonable prices! I ordered the fish & chips, and because the fish broke into 2 pieces in the fryer they brought out an additional fresh piece to make up for it

Lovely place, greeted at door by a lovely girl called Katie, showing to our table, offered menus . Once ordered drinks came, didn't have long to wait for the food. Food was great, I'd a steak sandwich and skinny chips really good, partner had an omette he really enjoyed as did his son who had a chicken sandwich which was really full. Seating outside at front but a really lovely seating out the back and we were told you can take a dog out there also. Other girls very friendly also. Would recommend this place.

So glad we found this place in castlewellan. Very homely, and we were warmly welcomed on a cold rainy Sunday morning. Obviously the house fry was chosen with coffee, and clean plates all round . Would definitely recommend .

Was in today with my mum for lunch. We had one chicken and one beef sizzler with chips and rice. Food, service and value for money exceptional. Just honest quality food with friendly local hospitality. Always worth a visit.

Fantastic value for money and brilliant service - £5.95 for a big, tasty fry and a pot of tea is exceptional value. I don't normally leave reviews for restaurants, but I felt compelled to this time. Will definitely be recommending it to anyone up visiting Castlewellan.

Amazing staff... make you feel at home and service is always with a smile, they excel on what u would expect normal service to be and nothing is to much for them even when they are run of their feet. Food is amazing, pricing is great don’t miss an opportunity to call in!
