Welcoming and friendly. Although busy they found us room upstairs. Good food. Nice cake, staff was nice also. Great place to stop by after a visit to the old castle or the St Edmonds church next door. It gets busy here.

Lovely tearoom with friendly and welcoming staff. Our little family had a nice tea time(especially our little one. Child’s hot chocolate was fab!). We will definitely be back. Thank you.

We stumbled upon this place in Castleton and were greeted with such warm smiles. The decor of the place is just outstanding, put us in such a happy mood! The lunches we ordered were absolutely delicious! Such a lovely find and was actually a highlight of our trip!

After seeing the sunrise on mam tor we stopped here as it was open early, we were so glad we did. Staff was so welcoming and friendly. The place and the food was really well presented and clean, the cleanest cafe/tearoom iv been. The food was delicious and super fresh. 10/10 for the yorkshire tea also. Both me and my partner were really happy with all we ate and drank ! Definitely would recommend.

Found the gorgeous Peveril tearoom in Castleton seeking warm shelter after 2 hiking route failures around Mam Tor & Cave Dale. Super friendly atmosphere, caring staff (or owners) where nothing is too much trouble. The food selection looked fantastic and the main reason I chose this tearoom was the Vegan options they offered. Coffee and chocolate cake was ordered and devoured! Beautifully moist, rich chocolate cake 🤪 There was a little cookie that came with the coffee, do you sell these too because I would of bought a few to take with us! They clearly love dogs, plenty of leash hooks inside for your furbabies to join you. We visited mid week (none school holidays) with plenty of seating available (the gale force winds kept most away). One last note, their prices were very reasonable, in fact it cost us less than it would a trip to a costa! (Not to mention the taste, selection, atmosphere & area). We will defo be back to finish our hike and eat more vegan chocolate cake 😍 See you again soon.

We had one of the best cooked breakfasts we’ve had in a long time here! The warmest of friendly welcomes - including for our Golden Retriever dog - to a beautifully decorated, modern space. The food was superb quality and the full cooked breakfast (which included tea / coffee, orange juice and copious amounts of toast) was FANTASTIC! Thank you so much. A real find in Castleton.

We enjoyed coffee and delicious scones in the upstairs parlour, served by a very friendly lady. What a wonderful spot, we really liked the homely, dog-friendly atmosphere, the comfortable armchairs, and the Herdwick sheep paintings.

Cutest little cafe in Castleton , the staff is so friendly and warm, we had toasties and coffee for lunch and everything was made with love and care and was very tasty indeed! They also have lots of yummy homemade cakes and pasties to take away. Very glad we went there!
