Took the vegan carbonara and was blown away by the taste and dish as a whole. Really filling, delicious and well presented. All the staff were very kind and attentive here, the atmosphere was very calming and comforting.
All in all, a really great experience and a really interesting and welcome edition to Castleton.
Stumbled across this restaurant when looking for places in the Peak District that offer vegan options. We were extremely happy with the offerings - My boyfriend said the Meatless Orgasm pizza was one of the best pizzas he's had, the apple crumble was great, and the wine was lovely. We felt very well looked after by the staff and even though the area we sat in was small, it felt cosy and comfortable. We'd definitely return if back in the area!
The food here was extremely well prepared. The 4-cheese pizza was a spot-on, the chicken was cooked perfectly, the date pudding was delicious. Even the black coffee was well balanced. It was a nice surprise for us to eat at this restaurant during our visit to Castleton. This place worth the trip i took from my home town to London and from London to Castleton
What a lovely place to eat. Good food, good atmosphere and great people. Staff and locals included! Stopped off on the fly and came across a fantastic restaurant with such amazing food. The locals in there were chatty too, and so friendly. Did I mention, they’re dog friendly too!! Shame we live too far away, otherwise we’d be locals too! Thanks again for your hospitality 😊
First time here and will definitely visit again when in Castleton. Service was first class. Relaxed atmosphere and could not fault the food. My partner ‘experimented’ with the pasta with Brussels sprouts. Wow. Highly recommended. Think I’ll have this next time. A real welcome addition to Castleton

Michelin style cuisine! Awesome food and super friendly staff! Been there a few times, the only go to restaurant I’d pick when in Castleton! Great place for date night and family dinner :)

Well finally we have found another gem-1530 restaurant. An italian restaurant in a small english village…hmmmm…alright let’s try. AMAZING!!! Food menu very rich, food itself very fresh and tasty, polite staff, nice garden, delicious deserts and drink menu aswell good. We will definetely come back. Recommend
My wife and I have eaten here before so booked it for a family occasion. We booked for seventeen people. The meet and greet was excellent, the service was excellent and all seventeen meals arrived in fast succesion. The range of food ordered was across the spectrum of the menu and every meal was perfect thank you CHEF. Seventeen meals of a consistant excellent quality, served at the same time with not one complaint was a great achievement. After the meal we sat in the garden at the rear. What a great setting. Thank you guys for making this very special family occasion one to remember.
food was great, service was excellent and the atmosphere was incredible (thanks Neil and Ollie). Alisha served us so well, despite her initial passive aggressiveness that you usually get with the aussies, she mellowed once the banter came out. We laughed a lot. Would definitely go back.
