A small friendly local with a small but frequently changing choice of real ale, often sourced from local breweries. There's a cosy all weather beer garden to the rear. Not currently doing food but Sunday lunches may be back on soon.

Really friendly regulars and staff and got a fantastic welcome from the landlady.
Beautiful clean tasting real ale - and I was encouraged to have a taste of them before deciding (I got two halves) and a delightful little garden in the back.

Friendly local pub with great landlord/landlady. Great value beers and a selection of real ales, well kept and tasty. Comfortable traditional environment with some outside seating too. Needs more trade, call in when passing and help them out 😁🍺🍺

Exceptional value for money. Friendly people both staff and customers, has a great relaxed atmosphere. Food just as you would like with that homemade taste. Plenty of food and will not leave you hungry for anything else. You couldn't make
Best pub in the area without a doubt. Hosts are so welcoming and friendly, great selection of beers while I watch the F1 or stop off while out for a work.
Lovely beer and nice friendly hosts, been before and definitely going back again. Heard great things about Sunday dinner (12-3) so once we've tried it I'll post again. If you like a good range of drinks in a friendly cozy atmosphere you'll love The Griffin 👍
Just had the Chinese pork with veggies and chips. To die for. They keep a good pint too. Recommended. Food available Wednesday's and Sundays. Will be back to try the Sunday lunch. Staff are friendly and helpful but not pushy. Come and enjoy a pub like a pub Should be. TRADITIONAL
Very friendly local pub. Live music on Saturday and Sundays. Choice of beers ciders, lagers and spirits. Holds a quiz.looks like it has a darts team. Will defo go back.
Small and friendly local situated just out of town and next to the canal. A nice selection of real ales, well kept among the well stocked bar. Also theme nights and sky sports shown on TVs.
