It’s about time I wrote a review for Magic Wok! I got my first ever Chinese takeaway from here when I was 18, I’m now 23. Nearly 6 years ago. I live in Knottingley, but this is the only one I’ll eat from and I’d rather travel home with the potential risk of my food being a little bit cold than order from anywhere else. The KUNG PO is delicious, chips are crispy and tastes like they’ve been triple fried in the best way possible! Noodles are lovely, salt and pepper chicken is great too. I could go on and on, very reasonably priced and the lady who is on the front desk is very pleasant and lovely to chat to. If you haven’t eaten here, please try it! Cannot wait for my next one.

We always have delicious take away from Magic Wok. The food is always piping hot and tastes fresh, not like many other take aways around here. The portion sizes are very reasonable too. Well worth a try, highly recommended!
I got one of their new noodle boxes the chicken satay one, easily more than enough for two people highly recommended.
Amazing!! Lovely staff, extremely tasty and good quality food! Very good value for money, I can’t recommend these enough. Honestly THE BEST Chinese takeaway we have ever ordered from. We’ve been loyal customers for years now and they have never let us down.

Absolutely outstanding food, there salt and pepper chips are amazing!! Other Chinese takeaways in Castleford have competition against magic Wok, about time aswell!! I'm staying with these.... A very happy customer :)
The order arrived in a timely manner, food was piping hot. All the order was there, the only problem was that the chow mein chicken didn't include sauce even though it was chosen to have sauce.
