Called for a pint while the dog had a swim in the river. It was a lovely setting and the weather was glorious which made the experience even better. Needed to be in Castleford 1st thing in the morning and decided to visit the boat Inn, absolutely fantastic , food was very good, beer and wine were superb! The crack was great and a very warm welcome. We stayed in the car park in our camper van and the area was perfect for a great walk, all in all
We stopped off for some lunch. Very nice sandwiches and children's meal. Could do with a touch of modernising but overall was a good visit. Would return.
