Our second visit for a 3 course dinner, a great selection of food to choose from. The food was delicious and excellent value, not much room left for a mouth watering dessert, but we managed it! The staff are very friendly and obliging, and will be returning soon for an afternoon tea with prosecco. Certainly a restaurant to visit and enjoy.

Lovely Saturday breakfast. Both the smoked salmon scrambled egg English muffin and the Mighty Moot breakfast were delicious. Kind and quick service. We will be back next time we drive through!
Visited here this afternoon as one of thirteen motorbikers for lunch. We had pre booked the table but as we knew we wouldnt be able to get everyones choices in advance we weren't able to pre book food off the full menu (it's like herding cats) so they kindly gave us the "simplified" menu which suited us.
They had a table ready for us and were very efficient with the drinks and food.
No one complained about anything which is a first.
My tuna mayo jacket potato and salad was lovely and just what I needed.
The other meals I saw about me looked great.
I'm told by some in my group and a couple who were just finishing their meal when we arrived that the full menu food is excellent across the board so Wifey and I will visit one day for lunch and to try it out.
Best of all the prices were very reasonable.

We arrived at here late on a Sunday afternoon after visiting a nearby railway attraction thinking we would probably only get tea and cake, but were pleasantly surprised to find they were still serving Sunday lunch. One of us had the pork with the best crackling we have ever had, and the other had beef. Portions were large and they were happy to provide an extra plate so we could share with our son. We had 4 good slices of meat cooked to perfection, beautiful roast potatoes, Yorkie pud and a lovely selection of vegetables. We tried the Eton mess and ice cream puddings, and both were excellent. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Sunday lunch was approx £16 for the main course and excellent value.
Perfect stopping point in a delightful village. Delicious sandwiches and dainty cakes beautifully presented. We were made very welcome.
Stopped for breakfast at the end of our dog walk. Great quality breakfast at a reasonable price and great service too. We sat outside as we had the dog but inside looked lovely. Not been here before but it’s a hidden gem and we will definitely be back.
We do not eat bread or potatoes (and chips are hard to dodge anywhere) but this gorgeous tea room offered us instead, a beautiful fresh salad and my husband had a baguette filling as the protein in his. The owner is so very accommodating and just wants his customers to be happy.

Afternoon tea for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint, good choice of sandwiches with warm homemade scones and bite sized cakes. A good selection of teas and service was very friendly.

Excellent experience great food. Only downside is no parking and shuts at 4pm. Except Thursday s.
Very quaint lovely decor food lovely service excellent and not rushed out if the door.
