Superb butcher. We ordered sirloin steak, minced beef, lamb and pork. Also middle cut bacon (cut quite thickly, not dry-cured, I don’t think - but tasty). This was to feed 20 hungry holidaymakers. Delicious.

bought bridies, bacon, and pork cumberland sausage. all lovely the best butchers in scotland. and great service well done look forward to going back.

Stopped by for Scotch pies just out of the oven, also a bridie and a sausage roll for later. My god, this butcher can make good pies. 10/10. Beautiful produce. Why anyone would buy a meatie pie from Tesco's is beyond me.

Wonderful staff, very pleasant and eager to help, the steaks and the pork chops were wonderful, possibly one of the best that I ever have in Scotland, looking forward to cook the rabbits today. Just a shame they are too far from Edinburgh, but I will be there next time I'm around.

Butchers like they used to make them - excellent selection of high-quality meat and service that is second-to-none. Worth travelling for - on the more expensive side but a nice treat.

We make a special trip from Dumfries every few weeks to stock up on Griersons pies....they are superb. I can'tcreally recommend one more thanbthe other as they are all of equal, excellent, quality but my 12 year old son loves the pulled pork pasties and would, if he could, live on them!!

You can always tell the best butcher in town, it's the one with the longest queue! Fantastic service and lovely fresh cuts and all low food miles.

Perfect place for my favourite scotch pie and bridies. Really friendly and super produce from mince to steak and garlic kebabs.

Fantastic butcher. Very friendly and amazing food. Loads of tasty specialist meat dishes. Recommend the meatloaf.
