Cafe At Designs - Castle Douglas - Photo album

Lovely cafe out the back of the designs gallery shop. Super friendly and attentive staff. Wanted to share a toastie so they split it onto two plates for us - a very nice touch. Have visited again many times with and without friends and will definitely do so again!
Lovely garden with canopies for shade. Designs cafe is much bigger than it looks from the outside with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very tasty, we had lunch with coffee and cake, all excellent. Good gluten free options. Efficient and helpful staff. Very dog friendly with plenty of s
Lovely lunch. Best Victoria sponge cake I have ever tasted. Friendly staff. Shop above has an amazing selection of books, socks, cuddly toys, psychedelic parrots …. Just go there and see.
Staff are very pleasant and the food and coffee were first class. I can recommend the Kedgeree. Dogs are allowed outside under a covered area.
Great cafe in the high street. Plenty of choice on the menu. Benedicts are nice, as are the toasties. Generally quite busy but we've always managed to get a seat. Service is always friendly but on occasion the food has arrived before the drinks. Definitely worth a visit.
Super tasty little Cafe in downtown Castle Douglas. I had a toasted sandwich with eggplant, mozzarella, and pesto sauce, and also a cheesy scone. A nice pot of tea to wash it all down. I highly recommended little gem here in CD.
Excellent. Lovely welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent choice of meals and drinks and the chosen dishes were delicious. A lovely hubbub in the dining room. Quick service despite being very busy. The shop upstairs is similarly excellent. Go!
I absolutely loved this location. It's clearly a popular choice as it was very busy for a week day late morning visit. The plain scone, jam and cream would be my recommendation, as well as the cheese scone - they were both super fresh! I'll be back!🌟
Very nice wee shop. Visited here during my holiday with my boyfriend and the lady at the till was kind enough to offer to put an item as side for me so that I could decide if I wanted to buy it on my next visit and come back the next day to purchase it if I wanted to.
Food was quite nice though not outstanding and like most places not that cheap for what you get. However, it's still worth a visit and I woukd go back.
