Solid Nepalese food and excellent service. Went on a Thursday night and it was pleasantly busy, staff were attentive and food arrived at a good pace.

Really good takeaway. Delivery was quicker than I expected. Driver was really friendly. Hearty portions. Had a veggie starter and meat main and both had great flavour. All reasonably priced.
Visited on Sunday evening, had a lovely meal with family with an incredibly warm welcome from the staff. Had the lamb shank and prawn madras and both were excellent.
Will be back.

Fantastic food. Felt like home. Nepalese food is similar to Bangladeshi. Very nice. Host was so pleasant and loved the warrior feel of the proud Ghurkalis. š

Been going here since it opened and has become our favourite Donington curry house. Great food and service, and reasonably priced
Since moving from Bradford 16 years ago, I've searched the Derby area for a decent curry, tried them all. I've now found Gurka Mahal, it's the best I've had and highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good curry.
