Great little airport.
It’s easy to get to, plenty of parking and easy to find your way around. There’s a number of bars, shops and places to relax before your flight. On arrival it’s very quick to process your passport and collect your luggage.

Loved this airport. Not too large to be impersonal . Staff were polite and helpful. Was stress free travel to the actual airport. Went in the lounge and could relax and enjoy food and drinks. All very nice and would definitely recommend this airport.
The Jet parks bus driver went above and behind when we got on the wrong airport transfer bus last night. After dropping off all his passengers he took us to the correct carpark . We were so impressed but after a long journey we unfortunately forgot to take his name , but thumbs up to EMAP for having
Went through recently with no problems but on return journey we waited over an hour for suitcases! There was around 4 flights in at similar time & the wrong information kept being put up as to which carousel was relevant to each flight, it was really busy & people were running around like headless
This airport is like airports should be: It's small, personal and relaxed. The staff are friendly northerners and actually real people you can talk to! It also has many normally priced food and beverage options past the security gates, which is refreshing!
I have used this airport frequently over the last few years and always been pleased with the services offered. Much better than other larger airports I have used.
The only thing that lets it down is the state of the toilets in the arrivals area.
