White Hart - Castle Combe - Photo album

Incredible food and drinks after a tough day exploring the nearby attractions. All members of our travelling group commended the high-quality food served. The owner is present and involved, putting a personal touch on the experience. I did not stay in the rooms and cannot comment on that, but to av
Going there often when visiting Castle Combe. Really nice and cosy. Gives you a taste of relaxing in one of the little houses there. Never has their food but it has a fantastic look. Nice range of drinks. Would better take extra care of the cleanliness since the place is very old. Also would prefer
Nice pub in the lovely village of Castle Combe. Great location at the top of the village. No parking but best to park in the car park at the top anc walk down anyway.Good variety of food and a specials board. Various jacket potatoes etc. Garden at the back also. Wasn't too crowded and the wait for f
I read a lot of the terrible 1-star reviews for this place. And was initially inclined to believe them as the proprietor mumbled a sarcastic "great" as I walked in with my family. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that it was concern over my three young children and not because we're
Best choice for food in the Cotswolds! Might not be the most “glamorous” but by far the most genuine with amazing food and very friendly staff- also the most attentive and capable f&b team we encountered in the Cotswolds! A real “live as a local” experience, highly recommended!
We went to this pub for dinner, friendly and smiling barman, wide selection of food offered, pulled pork bbq, lasagne and haddock was delicious, I will go back there 100 percent, moderate prices, dishes beautifully presented and very large☺ I recommend it with a clear conscience!! I don't understa
The food we had was lovely, I think this was the best Jack potato I ever had. The guy at the bar was nice and friendly with my husband. The only thing that ruined our experience was a horrible woman who came in at 3pm demanding food, trying to use her baby as an excuse, when it was clearly stated ou
Visited the little 'hamlet' of Castle Combe as part of a 'Day out in the Cotswolds'. I thought I'd try The White Hart, to see how it compared to the only other pub in the village. The pub is very cosy, due to its 'compact' proportions, with a cute rear garden/patio area. With a small but nice typica
Tucked away in the enchanting and whimsical village of Castle Combe is the most darling pub in all the land! The service was amazing. Unlike many reviews have stated, there was no rudeness or sarcasm towards us, who happen to be both foreigners and tourists. Both the man and woman running the pub we
Cozy warm cafe, loved the small town vibe. Right in the center of the village so ideal location. We ordered lasagna which came with a side salad & was delicious. Beef burger was okay. We ordered two coffees to go & they were freshly brewed. Total cost was around 37£.
Lovely pub where you don't need reservations (unlike the other two pubs in castle combe). Great service, great beer and cider, and lovely hosts!
Mind blowing and delicious food. Amazing staff and huge servings. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back again.
Castle Combe is a beautiful, picturesque, peaceful location, ideal to finish with a drink. Sadly at 8.30 in the evening they wouldn't serve a cup of tea, which was a shame.
