Might not be the most “glamorous” but by far the most genuine with amazing food and very friendly staff- also the most attentive and capable f&b team we encountered in the Cotswolds!

Visited the little 'hamlet' of Castle Combe as part of a 'Day out in the Cotswolds'.
I thought I'd try The White Hart, to see how it compared to the only other pub in the village.

Cozy warm cafe, loved the small town vibe. Right in the center of the village so ideal location. We ordered lasagna which came with a side salad & was delicious. Beef burger was okay. We ordered two coffees to go & they were freshly brewed. Total cost was around 37£.
Lovely pub where you don't need reservations (unlike the other two pubs in castle combe). Great service, great beer and cider, and lovely hosts!

Castle Combe is a beautiful, picturesque, peaceful location, ideal to finish with a drink. Sadly at 8.30 in the evening they wouldn't serve a cup of tea, which was a shame.
