Ideal location for a meal when staying at Bolbec Campsite next door. A warm welcome, fabulous food, friendly locals and dog friendly too. So good we are returning for our meal again this evening. The sausage and mash had THE best gravy ever!
Went there for a meal, food was excellent with spectacular views from windows. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a lovely place to dine. I would highly recommend a visit.
Called in here for a light lunch expecting a standard toastie and frozen fries. What a fabulous surprise to be served home-cooked chips and the toastie was filled with freshly cooked chicken and bacon! All this with a side salad in a lovely dressing. Absolutely delicious.....thank you.
Wonderful experience! Great location, with a nice 15-20min walk to the reservoir with some really beautiful views. Just off the A68 so good, easy access. The room was clean, had everything you need, a beautiful view and nice selection of free teas, coffees and biscuits. Pub and food were great. Real
Went to the restaurant with family for a Sunday meal. Inside it was a great atmosphere with lots going on and a friendly feel. The Sunday roast was good and definitely filled us up on a rainy Sunday.
Stopped for bite to eat. Handmade burgers were so delicious and full of flavours. I had spicy veggie burger and hubby had meat one with monteray Jack cheese. A really good menu and will return to sample some other dishes. (I had cut my burger in half before remembering to take photo!!)
Had a lovely lunch here, Bacon Brie and Cranberry Toastie with homemade fries and salad. Great service and reasonable price. Food was excellent
