Tried this place fort time and was very pleasantly surprised. Maybe not the place to go for a special meal, more cafe/ diner feel. But food was nice, tried pasta and risotto. Pasta was better, risotto rice a bit overcooked. But saying that very decent prices and I would go back again. Best of all was the staff! So attentive, we never been in this restaurant before but they treated us like regulars! Excellent excellent service!
Impromptu meal out, delightful little restaurant. Waitress was very friendly and great service. They were happy to make changes to the menu for our children. We will definitely be going back.
The best pizza and pasta in town! Always get our pizza and pasta from here. Pizza is so tasty and the pasta is perfect everytime with great portions.
The best food in Carshalton. Every plate was really tasty and especially the steak. Absolutely delicious and very reasonable prices for all the plates. The service was very nice and the staff was very kind. You need to visit this place definitely!!!
I finally got to check this restaurant out with some friends, and as far as quality and value goes it was very good indeed!
I went for the antipasto misto to start and it had a bit of everything that I like (see pics).
I love cured meats, cheeses and olives, so it was a nice little tatser to get me in the mood for my main course which was the Bresaola pizza!
The dough was light, crispy and a little bit doughy which I didn't mind.
The toppings were generous, the bresaola (cured beef) sliced nice and thin, along with the cherry tomatoes and the rest was a nice combination.
Service was friendly and not too invasive.
Will definitely go there again for a pizza and would recommend it if you're in the area.
4 stars as it's hard to beat when you're used to living in Italy and having a certain standard of food.
Nearly didn’t go in as looked more like a cafe by a bus stop than a restaurant but so glad I did. Food was fantastic. Really fresh. And huge portions plus really reasonable. Where else can you get a large glass of Prosecco for £6.50. Had bruschetta which was piled with fresh tomato and herbs. Plus veggie pasta which was huge with loads of veg Waitress was really quick and friendly despite being short staffed don’t know how she did it! Definitely be back
We had pizza yesterday from il laghetto and was really nice. Proper Italian pizza ( thin base) with fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Dined at this new opening recently for my wife's birthday. Warm and cosy atmosphere, staff made us feel welcomed, showed understanding in attending to our table to serve us.
Food is great, and it's definitely a local Italian restaurant to consider.

Quite busy with a cosy atmosphere. Food was spot on, especially the pizzas! The staff were really friendly and attentive too.

Great food, great staff, please get the front door closer fixed, drafts are not pleasant hence 4 star. Also noisy due to a lack of acoustic sound adsorption with the decor.
Lovely place to have a pizza or a nice plate of pasta in Carshalton. Their pizza with artichoke is my favourite, but I also enjoyed the prosciutto and rocket pizza. The aubergine parmesan starter is delicious and the tiramisu at the end makes for a great meal.
It's a must try restaurant in Carshalton for a chilled evening out.
We were staying locally and looking for somewhere to eat. Came across this on Google. What a find. Lovely informal restaurant reasonably priced good menu, friendly attentive staff .We had a great tasting steak, which was still red as we like it, with gorgonzola sauce, and lovely spinach side dish.

Really great authentic Italian cuisine, with excellent and friendly service. Also very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this place. The lunch menu is fab at £8.50 for a main meal including a drink, and huge portions too!
