Very hospitable and welcoming management. The fish n chips were surely amongst the best I’ve had.
Went to pick up as they were offering delivery after 4pm but totally worth the drive.
Good portion size and crispy coating with not very oily chips.
Enjoyed every bite. Above all my father loved it more 🙌🏻
I go there for my lunch sometimes I am a very fussy person with where I eat but this place is great . The food is top quality and great tasting I've had several different meals from here and everytime always enjoyable and excellent size portions best place in the area by a country mile 👌 and very clean and tidy and the owner and staff are very polite and friendly

I been to this place after reading positive google reviews. Very happy host/owner makes you feel welcome. Prices were reasonable, however fish was a bit undercooked. The batter was very thick that could be the reason the fish was undercooked.
But I will still use them again n hope the quality is better next time.

Following initial disappointment as noted, a revised order could not have been more different. The fish was fresh and plentiful, and a great portion of chips came with each. The owner clearly cares about customer service and providing great food. Clearly a one off blip the first time!
Old review: Really looking forward to my first delivery from here and unfortunately such a disappointment. Cod was nice but the majority consisted of only thick batter. The haddock was one of the worst pieces of fish from a fish and chip shop I have had. Thin, overcooked and dry, and barely any fish there (ordered a large and it was anything but) surrounded by stodgy batter which was inedible. A tiny portion of chips each (even for a standard portion, I would expect more than a small handful) and the mushy peas was literally a cup of cold pea soup.
I hate leaving a poor review for a local business but when you are paying almost £14 for a portion of fish and chips, which is one of the more expensive in the area, it's a shame to be left so disappointed. I would forgive the tiny portions of haddock and chips if the quality was good, but sadly wasn't the case. I hope this was a Tuesday blip for the restaurant that has had so many positive reviews.
Food freshly cooked to order with crispy batter on the fish, loved it. Will be going there again.
By far one of the best fishbar in the country, very clean and very good quality of food, with very special customer service.

Brilliant cod and chips we ordered 2 regular portions were really nice and generous portions too. My son had steak pie and chips he too thoroughly enjoyed his food we had a takeaway last night just stopped off on our way home. The food was cooked fresh for us well worth the wait. Not our first visit certainly won't be our last either. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

100% the Best chip shop ever. Chicken wings and breast chicken delicious. The chips are fat and tasty . We could eat this every day. The staff are so welcoming. Highly recommended.
The best fish and chip shop I've order!!! Just got mu order and my Battered sausage is fully coated in batter what i lobe and the chips are perfect !!! Highly recommend ps thanks you to the driver for being so kind
