Called into The Glen Bar at the end of a walk. Prices are very reasonable and the staff pleasant . Great menu, but unfortunately, it was our last day in the area, so we could not try the seafood platter for two, which sounded delish! Will definitely come back to Carradale as it has so much to do, i
Arrived after food service finished. Bill the Chef went out of his way to make us lunch. We then booked a table for dinner, the food exceptional, and definitely a place to stop for food and drink if in the area.
Peaceful place, very good quality food, we got here by accident and could not have been happier. Definitely recommended!

Nice bar and restaurant serve food till three then from six. When busy call for reservations. Macaroni cheese and chips . Steak pie chips. Went down a treat. We did ask for no salad and veg . Got what we asked for. Not many places actually give you what you want. Well done
Very good food can recommend the lasagna and the toffee and honey cheesecake. Would definitely go back

What a feast! We’ve had 10 dinners now on this trip to the UK and none of the others come close !!!! Bill and crew took excellent care of us and made us feel at home. Bill picked up fresh fish, langoustines and scallops for us this morning at Carradale harbor 😳😆 There’s Nothing like a fresh seafood

We just got back from a wonderful seafood dinner at The Glen. On a windy, rainy night, the coziness of the fire, the warmth of the welcome from hosts May and Bill, and the remarkable seafood dinner were soul-soothing. May and Bill were generous both with the meal, but also assuring us safely home

Lovely food, freshly cooked. There's a nice, relaxed atmosphere to the place and the owners are really nice people. I have had several meals there and they have all been beautifully prepared. Give it a go!
