Had an excellent lunch here Thu 4th April. 4 adults, 3 dogs.
We only had drinks and a main meal, but this was plenty for all of us.
I can personally recommend the homemade pie, loved it. Nobody had any issues with their food, they all said it was very good.

Absolute 10/10 experience here. Lovely atmosphere, proper home cooked food and stellar service. The landlady (we think she was the land lady!) went above and beyond to help us and our little boy when he was unexpectedly poorly - he thinks she is fabulous!! We will return to this hidden gem!
Lovely place. Nice room (the annex) little kitchen and seating area. The staff is really nice. The food is great, breakfast and dinner. Great walks. Go see and enjoy
A fabulously friendly, family-run pub with good value,hearty food and several excellent hand pulled ales.
We had a couple of nights in one of the good value small doubles, which while cosy, was well thought out . The room had all you needed and was clean and fresh.

This is the second time we have had a meal here, and both times, our experience has been great. The food is lovely and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Lovely place to stay really helpful staff nice food clean rooms. Lovely scenery around you. The staff were really helpful the room was cold on first night we stayed so I mentioned it and they put a blanket on bed and an extra heater in the room.

Delicious vegan food and a very warm welcome. Excellent customer service, fabulous staff! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegan options on the menu as the website only listed one or two. Highly recommend!
