Great wee farm shop and cafe. Coffee is lovely and scones are brilliant. Served with butter, clotted cream and homemade jam. Can sit inside or outside. Plenty seats. Nice wee shop with local produce as well. Lots for children if you are taking

We came here for ice-cream as a group of five. It was late afternoon and it was quite quiet. Not all the different berries used in the ice cream were available, but the ones we had were delicious. It was interesting to see them being mixed as we ordered.

The best berries, sweet treats and ice-cream blended with pure fruit, right in front of you. Loveliest little fenced playground with outdoor bouncy cushion, hay bales and goats to feed. A gorgeous afternoon, keeping the kids happy enough to let mums drink their coffee hot!

Such a hidden little gem! Beautiful food, great service and a lovely wee outdoor play area for small children. Not forgetting the option of feeding the little goats on site. A punnet of delicious strawberries were a must also!

We discovered East Scryne Fruit after reading about it in The Courier’s ‘Berry Trail’ article yesterday, where East Scryne had the number one slot. We’ve not heard of it before, and it’s a bit of a hidden gem. We’ve been to one of the farms slightly closer to Dundee but the home baking and freshest of fruit here makes it worth the extra mile or so drive. We were told that the scones and cakes are baked fresh each morning and berries picked that day. My wife had one of their home made meringues and she’s still singing it’s praises. I had one of their ‘churned to order’ ice creams and our daughter had a ‘Joelato’ vegan sorbet, which she said was lovely. They had oat milk for her coffee too. We had a barista cappuccino which was spot on. Those scones looked so good, we bought some to take home with a punnet of berries. Staff were lovely and friendly. There’s plenty of free parking and stuff for young ones to do outside. Though there were plenty of customers with little ones, there were also walkers, dog walkers and cyclists there too. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it. Just wish I’d taken some photos.

Good food, however, the latte was half foam and half coffee. At over £3.40 that is not good.

A great wee detour from our coastal path cycle at east haven. The cafe is seasonal opening. We had a great lunch stop and the staff were very friendly. Nice kids play area, but we didn't play, we got back on the bikes and enjoyed the rest of the glorious coastal path. Happy days indeed
