Best Indian restaurant I’ve been to, what a find. Food excellent, staff very friendly and super efficient. Would be confident in recommending Ganges to any curry connoisseurs. Top notch.
My guesthouse host Lisa recommended The Ganges, said it would not disappoint…Lisa was right! The food was absolutely AMAZING. Staff were brilliant. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but quickly filled up. Probably best to book this in advance to avoid disappointment.
Absolutely delicious, the food was so fresh and the staff were amazing. Wasn't sure what to have and they were kind enough to help, they even went out of their way to adapt the food to my liking. Definitely will be back.
We went to the restaurant with family (six people including a 2 and a 1 year old) the staff is very accommodating and friendly.
I have been to a few Indian restaurants the last 30 years but I found this one the best I have been to (some restaurants come close but for me this was top notch). The food was excellent the service was great.
There is a parking lot a few yards down the road (free after 5:30pm).
Ganges has a cosy feel to it, together with the friendly staff is sets a lovely atmosphere to enjoy fantastic Indian food.
Highly recommend to go eat there.
We had been recommended by multiple people and decided to order a Ganges takeout for four adults. The food was exceptional and very authentic. We will certainly be returning.

We ordered a takeaway to be delivered to the caravan site we were staying at. It was delivered quickly with a very friendly delivery driver. Food was hot, fresh and delicious.. very authentic, the best curry we've had in a long time. Would highly recommend.
An hors pair dining experience with delectable Indian food and the beautiful smiles of the staff who goes to great lengths to create a friendly and welcoming experience for the customers. Definitely a must-visit!
Very tasty authentic Indian cuisine! They were able to accommodate our 10 man golf group with a days notice for a Friday meal. Staff were friendly, giving us excellent food selections based on our individual tastes. Highly recommend. Online booking was available and easy to use.
Moth watering food and welcoming staff!
Visited here with my girlfriend and had a lovely meal. The place was packed and the staff still managed to find us a table and get us fed within 15 mins of sitting us. That sort of services goes a long way and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Carnoustie.
Absolutely outstanding food, one of the best Indian Restaurant's I've eaten at.
