Found this gem of a place a few years ago now after bookin a cottage on air b&b. I actually call this pub my happy place. I travel from melksham to dine here which is only 2 hours 20 mins down the motorway. Id literally drive 10 hours not just for the food but to see the lovelly family who run this
A warm and friendly welcome, excellent value and fabulous food. We were lucky enough to just drop in and have the carvery, but I recommend that you book in advance.
Quality and quantity of food, all I'll say is go there hungry! , the staff can't do enough for you, very friendly, It's a little gem. We chukka move after eating there ❤️❤️
Off the beaten track little village pub with a great heart and huge food portions.
The staff were lovely and the locals friendly and warm.
Will definitely be visiting this one again.

Cannot recommend this place enough, despite the clear refurb work taking place the staff cannot do enough to make you feel comfy. Awesome food and really generous portions. Definitely worth going out your way to visit!
lovely little and welcoming pub. food is home cooked pub grub and tastes amazing! service is wonderful and I can’t recommend anywhere more ! :) x
