Our neighbours from across the River never disappoint! Always a warm welcome, great food and fantastic setting by the Quay!! 10 out of 10 from me and all the staff from Howards of Carmarthen.
We had a Christmas menu yesterday lunchtime and were v v impressed! Every course was delicious and served by friendly, knowledgeable and polite staff! Every meal will be measured against this for the next Christmas celebrations!!! Simply excellent! Would certainly return again. Diolch yn fawr!!!!
Would highly recommend it not the cheapest but very good quality food well worth the money and the service is excellent one of my favourites

6 of us went to Diablos on the Quay last night, all 6 of us had different meals, and what can I say every one of us said how amazing the food was. Two of us had steak and it was cooked to perfection, we could have cut it with a blunt spoon it was that tender. Hats off to the Chefs for producing such lovely food. The serving staff were lovely and very informative. Definitely will be eating here again.

Can't fault this place...decor,menu,food,staff,premises,atmosphere all totally amazing. :-) 3 of us went on Sunday night and we came back with two more on Monday night..we were visiting from Donegal,Goring-by-sea and Dorset...we will be back for sure!!!
Just can't fault this place and we've been a few times. The food is always perfect and just slightly different, very tasty and the staff uphold the quality of the food with excellent service. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and definitely value for money.

Wonderful atmosphere, lovely dining experience and the food was excellent. We loved the Welsh-speaking, helpful staff and had a lovely evening.
We had the confit of pork and duck liver starters, fillet steak and lamb mains and Biscoff and salted caramel sundae and Rum Baba desserts with a delicious red to wash it all down.

Very fine restaurant with reasonable price located right next to River Towy. Food is amazing. Ordered steak and lamb shoulder, cooked to perfection. Kids' food was OK, not amazing, but I think the selling point is the adult food! Dessert was beautiful too. Customers service was excellent! They even let my 7 year old to press some buttons at the cashier! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening there 👍
Can't fault Dexters in terms of quality, fine dining - in a relaxed environment. Sunday lunches are superb here.
Some of the best steak I have ever eaten. So glad we visited. Black truffle butter was amazing as well. Might come back to Carmarthen just to come here again.
Wonderful dinning at Dexters. With no reservation they were able to accommodate us, steaks were cooked perfectly, everyone and everything was 5 star.

A fabulous steak restaurant serving wonderful steaks. There are other dishes to choose but predominantly a meat 🍖 restaurant. Good selection of starters and deserts. Good wine list. Overlooking the River. Staff are professional and friendly. Restaurant is very estetically done. All in all, a good eatery.
I don’t often do reviews but my meal out for my birthday yesterday was absolutely amazing. Such a nice setting with a very cosy restaurant with a wood burner flickering in the background.
My hubby and I had the Confit pork with a side of creamed spinach, so many wonderful flavours and the pork so succulent. Our friends had the prawns with a side of chips and salad which they thoroughly enjoyed. Our waitress was very friendly and checked our order a number of times due to my friend having a dairy allergy to make sure. It was very helpful having the separate dairy free and gluten free menus to choose from.
I will highly recommend to all of my family and friends. Thank you Dexter’s Carmarthen for giving us such a lovely experience.
Food was absolutely stunning! Everyone's steak was cooked to perfection, so much flavour in the food! The desserts were also beautiful, would 100% come here again!
