Once again good food, good atmosphere and great service. Four of us came for a meal, late notice but they still managed to fit us in although they were already busy. Remarks about the ham, egg and chips were that the ham was thick and plentiful and the chips were lovely. I had the gammon which was its usual quality and quantity... consistently good...and the hunters chicken had just the right amount of sauce to keep the taste buds tingling. Shame the Malteser cheesecake wasn't available but the Bailey's cheesecake was and apparently this was lovely and I can vouch for the bread and butter pudding!
Great Pub, the Menu has lots of options as well as a Specials board. It's reasonably priced and the portions are ample.
The Service was excellent and friendly. There is a small Car Park and on street Parking.
The Pub is dog friendly (well behaved on leads).
Definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely lovely pub, food was extraordinary, plentiful and very flavourful. Service awesome. Atmosphere comfy and relaxed. First time there today, lunch with the family. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Excellent Sunday lunch , so tasty . Gravy and roasties just as they should be . The service was also very good too , and they serve my favourite Welsh tipple , ffresh pale ale . Thank you we will visit again soon

We went on the recommendation of the owners of the nearby Gorgeous Rivendell farm. The food was lovely, great service and lovely friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place.

We visited the Forest Arms for the first time today. It is a beautiful country pub in a lovely area. The ambiance was very pleasant and we received a warm welcome. There was an excellent selection on the menu and we chose the Steak and Ale Pie and the Gammon. Both meals were very well presented, a good quantity and were truly superb, I would go as far as saying it was the best Steak and Ale pie I have ever had. The deserts, Eaton Mess, and Baileys and Chocolate Cheese Cake, we equally excellent. It was also good value, being very reasonably priced.
I would very highly recommend the Forest Arms, which is by far, the best eatery I have visited in the area.

The Forest Arms is a little Gem!With a warm welcome from George We spent Saturday evening having the most delicious home cooked meal in relaxing,comfortable,surroundings. We enjoyed the ambiance and food so much that we booked for the Sunday evening. Again the warmest welcome and another beautifully cooked,delicious meal. We thoroughly recommend if you are in the area to spend an evening enjoying delicious food in the Forest Arms. 5 star 🌟 food and hosting.
