This has to be the best steak we have ever had.
Just very simply fantastic quality meat, cooked to absolute perfection.

The chef (mark) comes out to see if you've enjoyed it. His passion for cooking is brilliant to see ❤️
All the staff are so enthusiastic about making sure you have loved your food.
Went to the steak night had a tomohawk steak and was not disoponted. Cook to your liking and was melting in your mouth. Would recomend a visit and i will be going back.
Very pleasant evening meal. Well served and tasty ( a lot of it though) my wife and I went because it is ten years since we had our first date in the blue Bell, and although we realise it has completely different staff. We enjoyed it just as much.

Was our first time of visiting for step sins pre Birthday meal.
Food was amazing the only thing I would say the burger was a bit dry for my step daughter. The atmosphere was really great service was excellent and even the dog got a treat 😊 we will visit again one day 😊
Good meal as usual. Had the garlic chicken which comes with a garlic mushroom sauce chips and peas, very tasty! As usual everyone is really pleasant and helpful.
Called in without booking on a Wednesday evening. Thankfully, they had just the one table spare for us, so do book in advance!
Staff were all very friendly and smiley despite being very busy.
The food was excellent. Proper home cooked style food. The rhubarb crumble is a prime example, exactly as I would have cooked at home instead of the fancy granola some restaurants try to pass off as crumble. It was delicious!
Make sure you are hungry when you go as portions are generous.

Walked in after working all day in the rain cold and hungry. The pub was so lovely, it really brightened our mood. The menu had a HUGE choice to choose from, it arrived astonishingly quickly and was delicious. Everyone that served us was attentive and friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will be certainly making sure to call in. Thank you 😊
Great atmosphere, great food, by far the best IPA I've had in a long time and I will be back to defeat the Fred Flintstone next time, well, maybe :)
Booking for eight people and it was perfect. Bang bang cauliflower was delicious as was the garlic mushrooms. We all had different mains and everyone said they wouldn't hesitate to order the same meals again. Lasagne, gammon, steak,mixed grill, burger, salmon and fish and chips were all delicious. Staff were very good with the landlady keeping a eye on everything. Can't wait for our next visit.
