Really good branch of costa coffee friendly staff and giving this out of townie plenty of advice regarding other branches in Carlisle had delicious slice of lemon drizzle cake naughty but nice usual excellent coffee enjoyed my visit yum yum yummy
Probably the best COSTA in the country. They KNOW how to make a latte/flat white (extraction in cup first, finely - no big bubbles - textured milk artfully on top - take note York Station) and such kind friendly people!
Bacon roll very nice too :)
P.S.
Staff in all COSTAs seem lovely, just the coffee quality so variable I gave up after trying in London, Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford,Leeds, Brum & York. Carlisle redeemed faith ;)
Excellent experience with the staff. Very courteous and helpful. Very good location for out of towners.
Conveniently situated by Carlisle Railway Station, so ideally placed if travelling. Limited parking outside for either 20 minutes or 1 hour using your Cumbria parking disc.
This branch has plenty of seating inside, which is very deceiving when looking as its frontage, there's also limited seating available outside. Most of the indoor seating is accessible, as a small section has a step up. The facilities are multi-use, clean, and accessible. This branch is usually kept very clean by the helpful and friendly staff.
As with most other Costa branches, it offers a wide range of hot and cold beverages, light bites, snacks, and sweet treats.
Don't forget your loyalty card or app.
Best latte I've ever had, and lattes take up a lot of my funds.
Lady with the blue hair, didn't catch her name as I'm blind as bat, super helpful and understanding. I emphasized to her to make sure it's oat milk as a drop of regular milk leaves me in agony for days, and my local Costa up north multiple times served me regular milk even though I clearly specified oat. I am ASD diagnosed so when I express my anxieties, people take it as assumed incomptence, insult, rudeness etc. She just took me at face value and let me watch her pour the oat milk which was reassuring to me
The general atmosphere is calm and quiet, dim lighting spacious with plenty of seating with charging sockets. not overstimulating whatsoever.
Super autism friendly!
Not usually one for leaving reviews but the service was immaculate, incredibly friendly, even staff who weren’t serving smiled. I was served by a young gentleman with a shaven head who was delightful and polite.
Coffee with a historic view. The staff was very friendly and welcoming on this rainy day, offering us a nice hot cup of coffee and tea to warm up and shelter from the rain! You can also grab a quick bite or nice cake alongside the hot beverage, recharge your phone in the dual usb/electric sockets and rest your feet at a nice clean table having plenty to choose from! Enjoy 👍🏻
Lady with short brown hand in a blue sling made the nicest mint choc chip ive had.
Wish i lived in Cumbria to have her make them more often.. Ill be telling some other costas to male sure they squirt the chocolate inside 🍫😋
Got served by a wonderful Girl called Stevie 10/10 she was caring, had the time to help , always smiling, definitely be back :))
Service is great, always greeted with a smile and quickly seen too.
I can be picky with my coffee, but they never seem to mind, or at least don't let it show.
This was my go to coffee shop while I was in England. The coffee is so good, the service is fast and friendly and there are so many treats to choose from. Love it
It's a Costa outside the station
Could have done with an extra member of staff
I am Coffee Addict person, naaah just kidding but love my coffee.
I would really recommend Costa near train station, pretty big place to sit grab coffee and watch world by or kill time before catching train or after leaving train. Staff is supper friendly and helpfull. Also it is 2 mins walk from city centre.
