Really like this pub. We came for drinks on the way to Scotland and then for a meal on the way home a week later. Was a really cosy atmosphere. First time here. Called in for a late lunch. We were greeted with a friendly, smiling lady who chatted away to us. We both ordered steak pie, which ws on a Monday to Thursday special 2 for £14.00. Great place to visit. It was quiet and calm. The food was tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was they didn't have unfrozen bread for any sandwiches, so I had to pick a more expensive item off the menu. However, overall, I would go back again. Would still like to try
First time visiting this pub food was good although a few things were unavailable on the menu. Reasonably priced and didn't wait to long for the food to arrive.

Very tentative staff and good value food, plenty of mid week deals. I wouldn't recommend the Desperados sauce however. Good sized outdoor seating area that catches the sun.
Came here for a work function, food was lovely, drinks were very reasonably priced and staff were polite, helpful and service was great. Would deffo come back again, highly recommended
Notice that the Portions with burgers a little to desire (perhaps smaller plate or pop the fries into a bucket, then it'll look more???).....no Strawberriws with dessert (should have been informed when ordering, when paying for food) and soft drinks over inflated

A super find. Close to our accommodation and excellent well prepared food, really fresh, good value and friendly staff. We were inside but a nice outside area too.
We popped in with our dog on the way to Scotland and Sarah made us all feel very welcome, making a fuss of the dog and providing water. The food also was delicious especiallythe sausages. Sarah was attentive without being intrusive and served us, and everyone else with warmth and a smile.

Lovely and friendly bar/restaurant. The food was beautiful and tasty. A fairly good menu that won't break the bank. There is nice seating outside and a grass area for the kids to run about. My only complaint is that the restaurants is so hot hence 4 stars, a few fans would really make a differenc
