Traditional old fashioned pub. Hard to find these days. Good atmosphere.
Traditional pub, with a lot of nice original features, timber panelling, stained glass, with older photos of the city above the bar. Next door to the cathedral and across from the castle. Recommend for a quiet relaxing drink.
Have been in a couple of times with colleagues after work. It's a traditional pub. It's well decorated and clean.
Quite good old style local pub ,with a couple of real ales on worth a visit if you are in the area

Been the best pub in Carlisle for as long as I can remember. Cracking juke box and crisp selection too.
John Cleese fawlty towers type barman, brilliant really not made to feel welcome.Really well kept pint of real ale and spotlessly clean inside with excellent covid measures,I've got to say I loved it.
Great pub, great prices, was in early afternoon, place was busy but easy to get served. Toilets were clean. Chatted to customers from Wales, all were friendly.
Great little pub. Very friendly. Good choice of drinks and as a bonus on a Friday night they had a free jukebox which was fabulous. If I hadn't had to drive back to Sheffield the next morning I would have stayed and had a proper session.
So refreshing to see a good old fashioned traditional pub. Nice warm atmosphere and to top it off they serve mcewans best scotch
Popped in here for some lunch having seen the menu outside. Pricing is very reasonable. I'd recommend this place based on that alone. The staff were welcoming and friendly and were great with my little one. The food was absolutely perfect, couldn't fault it! The only bad point was that there was no
Takes you back, to the old style pubs of it’s day; unpretentious. Plenty variety of excellently kept ales and lagers on pump. The food is very good, plentiful and well priced. Their meat pie, chips and peas is particularly noteworthy.
Nice little pub tucked away near the cathedral
Traditional old English pub. Very welcoming with a great atmosphere and staff. Many visitors from all over the World in the summer months and some dam good guest ales. The food is good to. One of the very few real pubs left in the City of Carlisle. The regulars are friendly and diverse with a mixtur
Great beer, try the scotch.
One of Carlisle's last 'unspoilt' pubs in the historic quarter of the city. Good atmosphere, comfortable, good beer.
