I had a set meal and a bottle of wine. Great price and great food. Staff were lovely a real friendly personal bunch. Definitely recommend and I will definitely eat there again.
I've been here twice now, once with my wife and once with a group of friends, both times the food was excellent and the service really good.

Food is excellent, restaurant was very nice and felt comfortable and homely. The only downside to the experience was that we had to wait 45 minutes for our food and it felt like the take away side of the business was more important than the restaurant. Other than that it was amazing, but I might stick to ordering the takeout food from now on!
Had quite a few takeaways from here and the food is consistently very tasty, never had a bad meal from here, best we have had in carlisle , and delivery time is good also

Our takeaway meal tonight was really good with some great flavours. The wait was long but we weren't disappointed. Don't write this off because of the poor reviews. Just order earlier.

Our 1st visit here tonight & we certainly weren’t disappointed. The quality of the food was exceptional with a wonderful variety of fine dishes on the menu. The ambiance was relaxing & the service was very good indeed. We would most certainly recommend Mumbai Spice without any hesitation & we’ll most definitely be visiting again. Been in tonight for a take away . Staff were very helpful in explaining the menu. The food was fantastic. I will definitely be ordering again . I have a happy tummy tonight. 😁

passing through Carlisle on business. I have tried many Indians as I travel a lot I have to say this is one of the best Indians I have ever been to. the menu is so varied and looks as though a lot of thought has been put into it. I would definitely recommend it
