We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children who had a late lunch/early dinner on Thursday .
Everyone of us enjoyed our meals. Staff were lovely and friendly. Can honestly recommend and you won’t be disappointed 😀

Group of 12 (golf party) great service. Asked if we could book a table for the football on Saturday night.

Turned up to a group on the table but the manager moved them. Ordered food a few dishes for the table for us to pick at which was very nice.
Cracking pub
From start to finish this pub is was a great experience. The bar staff were all friendly and nothing was too much to ask. The food tasted good and was very quick even with it being so busy.

Had a meal yesterday and the service was amazing!! The food was amazing. Came for a drink tonight (23/9/23) as we enjoyed it so much yesterday and tonight didn't disappoint!!! A fantastic night and the staff were hilarious. Keep it up apple tree!!!
Ordered a burger to take out because I had a train to catch when I got on the train it was still very hot and extremely tasty (even the eggs didn’t crack) the staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you
Waited a while for food but was warned before hand. Food was lovely and plenty of options on menu. Poor lad behind bar was rushed off his feet. Both him and the waiter were polite and friendly.

First time here, was with friends and met and made new friends fantastic staff very helpful, we got the cheese nachos dish to share but very nice. Also dog friendly and everyone loved my dog
Can't fault this pub in any way, it's a must for all visitors to Carlisle
Only had cheesy chips but as a woman travelling with her teenage son I wanted to say what a good place this is. Went in early evening and the atmosphere was friendly and service good. I sometimes feel invisible and intimidated at a bar waiting to be served but here was great.

Great staff very friendly and very polite far better than any other pubs they never stop working and always cleaning tables so they become free for customers to sit down I highly recommend to come in because they sell great food and a big choice.
Food was a little slow to be brought out however food was hot and tasted great so not too bad. Staff were nice. Easy location to get to for quick meals.
In for a late lunch my wife and I enjoyed the two course senior deal very tasty nice atmosphere staff all friendly and attentive couldn't have asked for more not local but would definitely go again 🙂
Really good pub with a great selection of great food. Both our meals were of a very good quality. Barman and serving staff very friendly and professional. Will definitely be returning.
