Loved the venue. My train was cancelled so had a cheeky beer 🍺 and a panini. Nice to see an Independent business for a change. Paying was really tasty, loads of options for fillings including a Build your own option. Staff were really lovely and beer was good, definitely appreciated given the heat

Just had a tea waiting for my train, friendly staff, local independent business. Price good for where it is, but the room is the 5* attraction, So unexpected from the platform. Too many plus points to mention, just call in the next time your waiting for a train or even in Carlisle.

Bit of a gem. Two local ales on tap. Cakes and other snacks. Very friendly service. Right next to platform 4. Much nicer than the usual train station offering.
Lovely little bar. Friendly staff. Just been in with my granddaughter. She had a lovely milkshake and I had a much needed vodka after being delayed

A great asset for the station, situated in what I presume was the original waiting room? Lovingly maintained this piece of history maybe a little pricey compared to Wetherspoons around the corner, but boasts a good selection of cask ales including a few craft too. Decent station bar (platform 6) to wait for your delayed train. A nice choice of beers and an impressive old wooden ceiling to contemplate on. Cash only when I was in... matches the ceiling.

Nice place for a drink while waiting on a train. Never eat so can't say anything about food. Offers discount for CAMRA members.
