An exceptional place. Great prices. Always made to feel welcome. One of the first places my family went to when we moved to Carlisle and it’s still the first place I think of when hungry. The full breakfast is perfect and the soups are to die for. I’ve eaten everywhere and always come back to my comfort zone. Can’t fault the place. Only when full

Went for lunch here yesterday and have to say how amazing it was, we sat outside and they supplied a bowl of water for my dog Buster. Had black pudding, goats cheese and chutney panini followed by the most amazing cheesecake I have ever tasted...... Roasted hazelnut - Ferraro. OMG lush is not the word will be back again soon

Very impressed. We were made very welcome, we didn't feel rushed to make our choices. The tea and scone was excellent, I just wish it hadn't been Lent as the options for sandwich were plentiful and we've both given up bread. Next time though....:-)

Wonderful breakfast. Latte was great as were the quiches on two separate days. Scones were also excellent and the wait staff was very attentive. The best breakfast in Carlisle!

A very nice cafe in a good location. The cheese scones are good, and the addition of some grated cheddar was a nice touch.

We had a lovely delicious breakfast here and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bubbly atmosphere. We stumbled across here randomly on the side of the high streets. We hope this little cafe does well as it is lovely 😊

A friendly cafe bar (more cafe than bar - daytimes till 4pm only) with a warm welcome and smiley, friendly service. The food is excellent; simple snack meals, with a menu that varies a little from day to day, including nutritious filling soups, and a wonderful selection of cakes and sweets. It can be a little busy at peak times, and sometimes I have been disappointed in not getting a table, but this is a sure sign of its popularity and warm welcome. My one suggestion to the management would be to sell vouchers. I tried to buy one as a birthday present for a friend who is a regular client, but they are not available...maybe a little trade lost here! Worth thinking about. I look forward to my next visit.

Regularly go here for a coffee & scone. Great friendly service. Scones are lovely with different flavours each week. Enjoyed a raspberry, white chocolate & coconut scone on my last visit which was delicious
