What an absolute gem! We had the best night here recently. Superb selection of food and wine, all very reasonably priced. Staff were helpful, friendly and full of advice on which wines to try. Really good atmosphere, will definitely come again! Thanks so much for such a chilled, enjoyable evening.

Gather around with friends to enjoy a magical pot of fromage! A mix of 4 cheeses served with chorizo, bread, potatoes and pickles, all perfect for the ultimate cheese pull and paired with a glass of wine always have a great time when I come here and it's so simple! You are given a card when you arrive, go to the wine dispenser, using the tasting cards above, choose a small, medium or large glass and press the button to pour! I love discovering new wines so this is a perfect way to find a new favourite

Great concept. Lovely wine. Trendy venue. Be aware that the website allows you to book 'food and drinks' after the 'kitchen' closes. We went expecting to be able to have some cheese etc. too but staff robotically informed me 'kitchen is closed'. More of a cosy Autumn/Winter venue than sunny summer.

A great addition to Whitchurch, fantastic ambiance and friendly helpful staff. I love the concept of the wine dispensers which the wines are regularly being changed. I’ve yet to try the food but I am booked to return soon.

A much appreciated addition to Whitchurch. Love the wine 'vending machine' option as it allows you to try a variety of wines - a cabinet each for red, white and rose The cheese is excellent and they are generous with the breads and crackers and chutney and jam. Relaxing ambience, friendly enthusiastic staff and a clean, unfussy, understated decor. Well well worth a visit either as the main event or for a drink pre/post one of the eateries in the village. Santiagos, Sopra etc.

Nice atmosphere, enjoyed the wine and cheese. Our bread was missed off our cheese and due to the delay they went above and beyond to rectify this. For the camembert they recommended which wine accompanies it best. And it really did go lovely. This info in general would be a great addition to the bar. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place for some quality wine and excellent cheese platters. Have discovered a few new favourites, and not as SPENDY (not speedy ha) as I expected. They also do gift vouchers, which is great for wine-loving relatives.

I came here on a recommendation from a friend. I had a wonderful experience for my birthday! Staff were very friendly and it was such a relaxed atmosphere! The charcuterie, cheese board and baked camber were delicious. Great concept with a card and wine optics where you can choose from a having a taster glass of wine to a medium, large or a bottle. A great way to taste different wines without the extortionate prices. Was a lovely evening and staff went above and beyond to make everyone welcome and imparted their knowledge about the different wines. Would definitely come again!

Had a good time, nice wine. Felt the staff could have been more engaging and the place could have used more atmosphere. Looked dead from the outside, could of had some people at at the window.

Really enjoyed a fresh perspective on choosing your wine. The descriptions on each one were helpful and we acted like connoisseurs discussing pairing of the wines with the cheese! Great aesthetic to the venue too. Good for date night, quick drink or events. Five stars would recommend.

This place has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. I don't know much about wines but the choice and variety and of wines is excellent. The self serve system is great because you can try as many wines as you fancy until you find your favourites. The cheese boards are delicious and fresh. I will be definitely be back again! Great addition to the area and a first for Cardiff!

Definitely a new favourite of mine! A superb choice of wines, which are updated regularly, amazing cheese selection, and a warm and cosy atmosphere. A major plus for me is that I can bring my dog with me too. She's banned from wine, but enjoys just a little bit of cheese ;)

This is a really special place and I'm so pleased to have found it! Glass of Bandol has a relaxing, sophisticated vibe and great selection of unique boutique wines from all over the world which are self-served from really classy machines. I've been so impressed with the selection which changes every time we go, and the affordability for great quality. The cheeseboards are delicious and very generous! The owner's and team are so friendly and just genuinely nice people. Such a pleasure to make this our new regular.

We visited Glass of Bandol on Friday and it was a great experience. The concept is unique and it’s fantastic that not only does Whitchurch, but Cardiff itself has a venue such as this. The wines were delicious and very reasonably priced, the process of pouring from the dispenser easy to follow and the staff were friendly and super helpful. We weren’t able to stay for long that evening, but we will certainly be returning soon.

Decent place for a couple of glasses and a small bite with a good atmosphere once it got busier. The charcuterie and cheeseboards were quality and the service cheery. I’d have liked more info / background / steering on the wines other than the little card on the dispenser. Even more so because there’s no need to interact with anyone knowledgeable before pouring them and it was supposed to be (I think) an exercise in trying something different. A welcome addition to Whitchurch for sure.
