A lovely way to start the evening at the Cardiff International Arena, would be to take a trip to the L2 Restaurant. It allowed us to avoid the big crowds, and the earlier entry meant we did not have to wait in a long queue. The stewards were very helpful and pleasant.
The food was exceptional, and of a very decent size. I would highly recommend the beer-battered cod and chips. It was the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The brownie and raspberry sorbet that followed was the perfect way to round off what was a very enjoyable meal. The bar has a good variety of drinks on offer and an extensive wine list.
The service was very efficient and well paced. The staff and manager at the restaurant we're very friendly and attentive. They made the experience that much better.
Overall, if you're looking for a wonderful dining experience before enjoying a show at the Cardiff International Arena look no further than the L2 Restaurant!
A fantastic night was had. Beautiful hot flavoursome food was served to myself and hubby on lovely dinnerware. Portions were more than a decent size and were well presented on the plate. Can’t wait to go back and sample more off their menu

Enjoyed some fantastic food at L2 before heading in to the Lost in Music extravaganza. Food was delicious. .. creamy garlic mushrooms on sourdough bread loaded with mushrooms, so tasty! Then a lovely chicken course with amazing tasting glazed roasted carrots, potato cake and butternut squash puree, finished off with lovely sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. All.just fab.. and then just able to walk into the show..give it a try!
Food was cooked to perfection, staff were very friendly. Good prices all around on the menu however, obviously I haven’t tried the whole menu… yet
